Here are some Captain America civil war details you should know. Everyone in this movie is holding back. All of Clint arrows are non-lethal. Spider-man always holds back not because of the movies is due to the fact if he hit someone at full strength he would kill them. Is Spider-Man was able to hit Captain America with a clean hit at full strength he would kill him instantly. Now despite that Steve Rogers can defeat iron man and here are some reasons why. You're basing strve strength level off the comic books when the MCU version of Steve Rogers is a lot stronger. Comic book Captain America maximum strength level is around 2 to 3 tons. While MCU Captain America bass strength in his first movie appearance was 6 tons and he gets stronger with every appearance due to the fact if he does not train his muscles will suffer from atrophy which will take away his super strength. So by the time of the civil war events Captain America strength level should be around 12 to 15 tons which doesn't compare with Tony's iron Man armor being able to lift trucks to planes on average. The thing to know about the armor in this movie despite the mark 45 armor being a current event suit is actually a weaker model made for capture entertainment purposes. That's why a lot of Tony's weaponry where non-lethal. Bucky is also a super soldier but his base level strength is equal to Steve strength during the first Captain America movie. Bucky doesn't get stronger either put lack of inactivity doesn't give his muscles atrophy which means he doesn't lose his super strength that's hydra was able to keep Bucky Frozen for long periods then send him directly on a mission without worrying about his capabilities. Now for bucky mechanical arm is strength level is around 18 tons.

I do agree that cap shouldn't have beaten iron man but Yall underestimating cap, I mean the man took hits from an enraged spiderman and was able to beat the hulk at sheer skill and strength not too mention a lot of people say has peak human physicality but no he is super human there aint no way a normal human able to lift a 30 ton steel beam and also push a 50 ton tractor faster then 15 seconds.
