Death to Smoochy is wildly underrated. I hope it will get a second life once people discover it through reactors 👍 Danny is a master of dark comedies - Throw Mama From The Train and War Of The Roses are 2 more of his dark directorial efforts.

I’ve seen this film a few times but l never noticed when he says to Burke “you just fucked with the wrong Rino” that he said a similar phrase in American History X which was “you just fucked with the wrong bull”.

Saw this in theaters when it came out, despite the critics hating it. I couldn’t imagine they watched the same movie as me. It’s goofy AF but I thought it was good.

The reaction style of looking away from the movie to dance and talk over key moments just isn't for me. On one hand I like more people discovering this great movie, but don't devalue it by ignoring the best parts. Left a thumbs down.
