Most reactors are like sheep, one reacts to a film and a week later there's 20 reactions. Fair play to Midnight Reactions for choosing films like this and The Drop to react to, two excellent movies that most others ignore.

It's not crucial to know it, but that's a reference to the last lines of T.S. Eliot's poem "The Hollow Men": This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper. In this case, the unspoken "bang" is Cory's gun. He's not only describing Pete's death but also letting Martin know that he didn't give Pete a quick exit.

Damn you do a lot of good movies, and I very much enjoy watching em with you brother. Only recently found your channel, so I'm gonna have to dig into your videos. Idk if you already did em, but since you did this one I sure hope you watch sicario and hell or high water. Underrated Film! Renners best movie fir me! And one of the best unexpected movie shoot outs in Movie history! Instant classic scene for me! I was like WTF! Did not see that coming at all! 😮
