First Time Watching Disney's *DECENDANTS* And It Did NOT Disappoint

2nd 3rd and 4th movies are all great

This was a great reaction! The first film was a great introduction to the Descendants universe. Please continue with the rest of the trilogy! The overall message is that anyone has the capability to do good or do evil. So you shouldn’t judge others until you get to know them. There is a book series that take place in between the films as well as an animated series. In the prequel book, “The Isle of the Lost”, we learn more about our main VKs (Villain Kids) and AKs (Auradon Kids). As for the ending, keep in mind that they just chose to be good, and they’re still gonna have to face other obstacles like temptations or fitting in. Also they’re not the only VKs who want to get off the island. The real irony is that most of the Auradon parents and kids are hypocrites like how Beast judges the kids based on their parentages when he got cursed for his own vanity or that Chad thinks his family’s royal status gives him the right to mistreat others when his own mother was given the same treatment and that his father fell in love with her kind heart instead of her appearance. Also, it’s been noticed that like in Disney’s Zombies, which I highly recommend that trilogy as well, Mal and Ben had just met practically, and they would need some time before they share true love’s kiss. #RIPCameronBoyce 😈👩🏻‍🎤🪄🐲🍎🐍🐶💜💙💛❤️

The isle is literally the slums so the don't have candy and luxuries over there. And the reason why they're "evil" in the beginning is because that's all they've ever known, that's how they were raised.

Before watching the 4th movie you have to watch the animated movie Descendants: The Royal Wedding to have more context for the 4th

I loved Dove Cameron in Liv and Maddie and Cameron Boyce in Jessie. Those were my shows. Disney Channel used to be underrated.

I love this movie

A lot of people are currently hating on Mal for “stealing” Ben away from Audrey but if you pay attention to when they first meet….Ben is clearly already in love with Mal, and Mal is trying to figure out if she likes him or not because she was being a it sarcastic in that scene. Yes they did owe Audrey an apology especially Ben for not even just breaking up with her in general….but that wasn’t Mal’s fault. Plus, Ben was technically flirting with her up until the scene where Mal gives him a cookie…..like she didn’t even have to do anything or say anything, and he was clearly smitten with her. Now we don’t know what Audrey was like prior to them arriving in Auradon, so maybe she actually was this sweetheart but when we first meet her….she was a bitch, so in a way she kind of had it coming that Ben left her for Mal although I will admit that in Descendants 3 she went through it….but was still a bitch. Mal actually didn’t manipulate him at all, because he had already fallen in love with her.

First off they were being told what to do by their parents who by the way are evil so saying mel now has common sense saying that it took her this long to find out they all knew from the beginning they weren't evil it was the parents who was trying to turn them evil so I disagree on some of the things y'all was saying
