He gives his big speech and says "no plan, no backup, no weapons worth a damn!" while he's telling River he does actually have a plan. He's always lying!
@@MatthewGCWReacts Part of the greatness of it is that you can just tell Matt Smith has an absolute blast filming it, being on set, and Moffat's writing is excellent.
@@acrefray Oh 100%!! Part of the reason I loved Doctor/Donna so much, you could just tell how much fun they had together, and you can 100% feel that with Matt too!!
this episode is great "this nameless terrible thing that just drops out of the sky and ruins your day couldn't stop it or reason with it" who does that remind me of also all of the doctors enemies coming together is great and the speech from the doctor is brilliant. the moment the autons (nice call to the first ep of the revival of the show) are revealed, Amy being shot and the music cutting of as the earth fades into the dark also this show is one of few where i will have makes sense. great reaction as always keep it up. and s7 ep2 not great in my opinion but center of the tardis and day of the doctor yet to come lots to look forward to.
I really enjoyed it! So much makes it up like you said, love a good villain team up and Matt Smith dropping an all-timer of a speech there!! Loved the Autons coming back having been their at the start of New Who, and such a fun reveal! Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed! As a fan of Dinosaurs I did enjoy 7x2 I'll admit, but very hyped for Centre of the TARDIS and Day of the Doctor!!
Loving your reviews.. at this rate you'll be ready for the 60th anniversary in November! And totally agree with you about Murray gold's score, it really does enhance the series
Glad you're enjoying!! And that's the hope, would love to be fully caught up to join in the fun with them!! Oh 100%, he just knows the perfect piece for all moments, its so impressive!
Yeah the rainbow Daleks suck beyond all belief. They just wanted to make them look like the ones from the older days. The copper Daleks we saw in the revival era are the better versions
And even then they only look *kinda* like classic Daleks. Yes they sometimes differentiated their ranks with different colors, but here they took that just a tad bit too far and went full Power Rangers.
I liked that they made them a bit bigger - more physically imposing. I needed that after Journey's End took away a lot of my ability to take them seriously. I liked the idea of giving them specific functions and swappable weapons (makes sense considering the Time War). I think, if they'd gone with a more metallic colouring and less of the matte finish that they did go with, they'd probably have looked a lot better and people wouldn't have hated them as much.
Fully agree that I prefer the overall look and everything of the copper ones for sure!! Definitely feel they could have made the rainbow ones work better if they wanted too, but copper overall to me!
