The First Games' Story was told very passively with more of a focus on gameplay. The Story was actually a mystery set up by various clues like posters inside cameras eluding to mysterious murder allegations surrounding the pizza establishment you were hired to guard, and prerecorded voice messages on a phone that would play at the start of each night of the game. in later installments itd be told via hidden 8-bit mini games that you unlocked while playing the main game. before eventually in the 5th game they started getting into a more direct approach to the story telling with present tense voicelines in-game story events and gameplay being more weaved into the story. and the story has only gotten more complex. the fanbase has been working tirelessly for years to put together the story from the pieces weve gotten, how they fit together, in what order they belong, and what context from the future informs how we see the past events and vice versa. Theres even a series of Novels that informs the fanbase of how the bonestructure of the universe works without being canon to the games. I for one was very skeptical as to how they would approach telling the story of Five Nights At Freddy's in a movie format. and i think the end product that we did get ended up doing it alot of justice. its not a 1 for 1 accurate story to the games but much like the books it does a great job of remixing the story into something that makes for a decent viewing experience all its own.

The first FNAF game was released in 2014, and fans have been waiting for this movie ever since. I usually don't care for horror as a genre, but I was drawn to FNAF because the story of its creation intrigued me. Scott Cawthon, the developer of FNAF, was a mostly unsuccessful indy game developer. One of his games, a children's game called "Chipper and Son", featured beaver characters who were supposed to be cute. Instead, as one game reviewer put it, the characters were "unintentionally horrifying" and "moved like broken animatronics". Scott was initially discouraged by that review, but after thinking about it, he decided to intentionally dial up the weaknesses in his game design and turn them into strengths by making a horror game about haunted animatronics. The result was the first "Five Nights at Freddy's", and it was a huge hit. Scott churned out sequels at a startlingly fast pace, and became a household name among horror gamers. The story is the ultimate real-world example of "when life hands you lemons, make lemonade!"

I highly recommend matpat channel name:"game theory" the 4 part lore videos called the ultimate fnaf timeline although the movie doesn't exactly follow the games lore but it has some relations into it plus some call backs afterall matpat made a cameo as a waiter in this movie lol.

When William Afton began getting killed, that is the most important scene in the games. When he said I always come back, that's a very famous quote he said from the games, and yes, he always comes back.

They say that in the game he always comes back, that is how becomes the SpringTrap from FNAF 3

I felt the spring lock failure all over my body, I played the game of Five Nights at Freddy’s and watched the movie Five nights at Freddy’s and It’s amazing but scary and I give the game and the Movie 9000/100

I got into FNAF out of no where a few years ago it’s very odd but the way the games are they’re very simple with little to no story, but RU-vidrs and other people pretty much made a story out of little hints and Easter eggs in the games. I’ve never even played them but I love the story that was pieced together by people, it’s actually really cool and confusing but I think it’s great the story is still going and people are still trying to put it all together I would just watch RU-vid videos on it. I recommend game theory he has a whole timeline playlist that’s very good loved the reaction!!❤

Spoilers Ahead! I waited 8 and a half long years for this movie, and it was totally worth it! The story line was much different than I was expecting, but in a good way! I loved the plot twists that this movie had regarding the character of Vanessa, and her connection to William Afton. I also really liked that the team behind the movie focused more on crafting a story line, than making a movie with no story line, and just mindless jump scares. The acting in this movie was great. After not seeing Josh Hutcherson in a movie for almost 8 years, it was great to see him in a new movie. Josh was perfect as Mike Schmidt, and I could not have seen anyone else in that role. Elizabeth Lail did a great job as Vanessa, and she really made you care for her character. Piper Rubio gave a great performance, considering her age, and lack of experience. Kat Conner Sterling did a good job as Max also, and I really felt bad for what happened to her character. Matthew Lillard, despite only having 3 scenes, was perfect as William Afton. I cannot picture anyone playing that role but him anymore. I am looking forward to seeing him portray William again in a sequel. The fan service moments were great also. Loved that Shadow Freddy made an appearance, and I am really hoping that Kat Conner Sterling is able to return to voice Shadow Freddy in a sequel. I cannot believe that Sparky the dog made an appearance as well, perfect little Easter Egg also. Balloon Boy's appearance was not something I was expecting at all. His jump scares were so funny, and random at the same time. I also could not believe that MatPat showed up in the movie. So nice to see him. This film laid the foundation for a whole new franchise. I loved that the movie ended with William Afton becoming Springtrap (Which I totally predicted back in February/March by the way). I hope the sequel fleshes out more of Vanessa's relationship with William Afton, and you find out why she is so loyal to him. I believe that they will adapt elements of FNaF 4 in the next movie, and it will be revealed that Vanessa accidentally killed her younger brother, and that William plays on her guilt over killing him, and that is why she was loyal to him for so long. I also hope that it is revealed that the Puppet Animatronic is fused with Garrett (Mike's younger brother who was killed by William Afton). They teased the Puppet at the end of the movie, and I hope that that is the connection to Mike in the end. I would also like to see Henry Emily show up, but I have a hard time seeing how they will do it right now. Maybe they will find a way to surprise me. I am also hoping that the film is a little bit scarier, and that William Afton (Portrayed by Matthew Lillard of course) has a bigger role. Out of 4 stars I would give it... 4 out of 4 stars Thanks Jason Blum, Scott Cawthon, and everyone else who made this possible, The long years of waiting were worth it in the end!
