I feel like your reactions to how i met your mother would be a delight to watch. Definitely your type of humor :)

That's actually one thing that bothered me about this episode, is their response to Ross, Chandler, and Monica's gesture. I've been broke, and if I get invited somewhere, I'll tell them whether or not I can afford it. If they offer to pay for it, then I know that's their choice and I'll do what I can to so appreciation for that effort on my behalf. Friends are friends are friends. If they can't afford to pay for multiple people, and decide not to bring me, then I wish them well and I hope they enjoy themselves. 🤷‍♀️ Not only that, but they already paid for those tickets in advance, so by refusing and saying no, they complain about money but they just cost their own friends a few hundred dollars for what will now be empty seats. That in itself I find to be even more rude. ❤️

Just to say I understand the perspective of phoebe, joey and Rachel their jobs really don't earn them much reliable money Joey is an actor so he has to rely on constant auditioning to get jobs so he's never sure when his next paying job will be Rachel is a waitress in America waitresses don't get a good wage and are mostly completely reliant on their tips Pheobe is a masseuse so her work is client by client based On the flip side Monica is a chef Ross is a palaeontologist at a museum Chandler works in a large company These two groups of 3 jobs have very different pay grades

I vote for SEINFELD!!! Especially since neither of you have seen it.

Honestly, I think you'd like How I Met Your Mother much more than Seinfeld, just based on your reaction to the humor in Friends. Seinfeld is very funny and a total classic, but most of the humor comes from how awful the characters are (as in they are not nice people at all). If you choose it just know that it's pure comedy. There are literally no heartwarming moments, and Seinfeld himself has said he wanted to do a show where absolutely nobody learned anything at the end of the day. Also, I know this isn't your primary driver, because I get the feeling you're the type that just wants to do something you love, but I think How I Met Your Mother would also net you a lot more views.

I totally understand the "poor" ones in this, but I also think they are wrong. But some have low self esteem, due to their work - not earning much and having their lifes together, that is. and probably embaressed, that's why it's hard to talk about, and also having problems accepting help from others, and there's probably resentment, hate, and frustration towards oneself. But it is, as Chandler says, just how they're feeling. But in our world, our 3D way of thinking, our feelings is always someone elses responsibility, even though others are just triggering up your own unprocessed feelings and stuff.

I see both sides in this, but the fact is that they give them free tickets like right after they’ve said that they don’t have money. Now with close friends this should not be an issue and people actually need to learn to give AND receive, but it would be belittling if it’s right away so it seems like “charity” after they tell you they don’t have money you then watch out for the future incidences and offer to pay or ask them to things and say it’s covered. That’s pretty much the issue, just that it was right away Also it’s friends, it’s meant to be a bit dramatic it’s a tv show

YES YES YES - I literally just jumped up off my bed when you mentioned SEINFELD! I looked for reactions for a while & would love to see you both reacting to it! ...btw Friends was my favourite TV show until I saw Seinfeld in english (german dubbing is not the best in this case).

I have a friend who got invited to dinner by a new guy in our town. The day after the dinner my friend and his girlfriend recieved a text that said "here is the bill from last night's dinner" I was amazed to hear that people actually do that

$62 in 1996 is $115 in today's money EACH. That's an insanely expensive birthday gift to get 1 person who is just your friend especially when you're in your 20's.

Forgot to add 5 steaks and the eggplant, it does feel awks when money woes crop up/ monica took ' kickbacks' and inadvertently joined the others being unemployed, just goes to show anybody can fall on tough times,

You should check out Big Bang Theory, Charmed, Buffy, Firefly, Gilmore girls. They would be good series if your interested in something new

My favorite TV shows Ever in television are Friends and Seinfield. So I vote for Seinfield. At the beginning its a bit slow but then it gets better. Love it!

I have an old rotary phone a guy showed me I can plug it in to s jack outside on my house and call when my cell phone broke I was impressed it worked even though I don't pay fir land line snymore

Actually some friends do things to belittle their friends no matter what, economically or any other way, I had a friend like that for so many years and didn't really see it We are not friends anymore, I cut the bands, up until that point I wasn't successful in any way, and since then I have a gr8 life.. things just were possible and achievable after I left that person to their own I later realized it was due to that persons lack of self esteem which, because they didn't think they could achieve or be successful in any way, that person pushed on not just me but all of their friends, and I'm way happier without the "friend" in my life 🙂

Please do How I met your mother!! I myself haven't seen seinfeld, but have started to think about seeing it. But HIMYM is really great! And Tania: I'm the same, alternating between HIMYM and Friends...and sometimes The big bang theory...and maybe once in a while some other, but mostly them, if I want feel good feelings.Himym is similar to Friends, much much comedy, laughter, friendship, lifelessons, but also more deep, very emotional moments, when it gets very real. In a way, I would say the show is more real, more reality than friends in some ways. I really recommend it.

Both HIMYM and Seinfeld are great, so you can't go wrong with any of them but Seinfeld is a slow burn as the 1st season is not as great as the rest of the seasons but you will see a progression and start laughing your ass off by season 3. Luckily season 1 is only 4 eps. Community is another great show you should think about watching.

This episode is excruciatingly relatable. It's one of my favourites, but I also kind of hate it. I'm not watching your reactions in sequence; instead I'm cherry-picking my favourites first.

It’s awkward talking about money with your financially challenged friends so we ignore it in America.

Acts that feel like charity among your peers totally makes you feel useless. It's totally different if it's from a stranger. I've been in that situation in the past and I began to notice that there was a tone of pity in their voice and a look in their eyes like they were looking at a sick puppy. It's even harder as a man since we tend to have more pride and have a harder time accepting help of any kind in the first place.

Dillon l it sounds like a lot of people are really negative toward you in the comments and I don't understand that, you're one of my favorite reactors, I love that you show emotion. So many guys are scared to do that and I just think it's fantastic that you're so comfortable with yourself and that you just don't care what people think. I never thought your laugh was fake, I think that there's really nothing fake about you, you always seem very genuine, it honestly I like it that you're passionate about your beliefs as well. I just wanted to mention that because I don't know what people's problem is, but they need to stop being so judgmental. If they don't want to watch your reactions, then they shouldn't be here.... and if they do, then they should shut up and enjoy them. Just my opinion.

You should do Seinfeld

Both Seinfeld and How I Met Your Mother are funny in their own way but I was never able to really connect with the characters from Seinfeld. I agree with other statements here that they weren't really nice people. Whereas HIMYM even the deeper flawed characters you can find real human emotions in and relate to their experiences in one way or another. And with how Dillon reacts to other shows and movies and can connect with those real human moments and the story, I think he would enjoy HIMYM more. For me, Friends, How I Met Your Mother and The Office are ALWAYS on repeat.

Not to spoil anything or discourage you but I almost recommend that if you react to Seinfeld just go ahead and start with the second season. The first season was kind of experimental and not really the Seinfeld that fans of the series love.

Would love to see How I Met Your Mother. I love the humor. Seinfeld just isn’t my thing.

I enjoy your videos a great deal, but your commentary on this one is tone deaf. For people who are of a lower socioeconomic status, it is incredibly difficult to talk about money issues and it is easy to feel inferior to others and to perceive perhaps well-intended actions as condescending and belittling. Rachel is in a different situation having come from money and now being broke, but with Phoebe and Joey, they most likely have an inferiority complex.

React to Seinfeld and to How I met your mother also.

My vote goes to Seinfeld just go in knowing its a show about nothing and they are all terrible people. Some hated the ending but I thought it was a really hilarious way to wrap up the series.

I'd prefer Seinfeld over HIMYM because you both haven't seen it. Plus, to me HIMYM is just another version of Friends anyway.

How I met your mother is just a bad remake of Friends for me & I couldn't watch it anymore when the couple I thaught was like Ross & Rachel were confirmed they weren't meant to be.
