Hell's Kitchen's Gordon was the TV's version of an old school drill sergeant. You nailed it Blu. In other shows he's amazingly human and funny. There's one where he goes around and tries/ helps make homemade local food, where THEY are the head chef. Not as dramatic as this one, but I actually like it better.

Ramsey also has a show called "Kitchen Nightmares" where he goes to small restaurants and samples their food first and then gives his opinion and THEN looks at their kitchens. In some cases he offers only some suggestions on how to improve their business, but in others he completely throws out their entire menu and kitchen contents and starts over from scratch. He's not nearly as aggressive and confrontational in that show . I only mention it because it shows his more chill side of passion for food. when the food is bad though, he's not exactly what one would call P.C. about it. lol. He still lets chef's know that garbage is garbage, no matter how you disguise it. lol.

It turns out that he dials his rage up or down depending on the class. He’s quite sweet with children and with nervous, sensitive new cooks. The first year he did Hells Kitchen in America, the cost of bleeping out the cursing was so high that he decided to change the a curse word to “donkey”and that’s why he says donkey so much. I think one of the funniest episode I’ve seen is when he was got really mad at one of the students and he just yelled “donkey donkey donkey donkey” at them

"An Idiot Sandwich" is a scene where Gordon Ramsey holds talk-show host Julie Chen's head between two slices of bread while yelling at her. The scene is from the "Hell's Cafeteria" parody skit from episode 50 of The Late Late Show with James Cordon, which first aired April 26th, 2015. Ramsey have said that he gets requests from fans to call them idiot sandwiches.

I am in complete agreement about the whistling comment he made. I had a college once who did that shit. He wouldn't even bother to learn people's names he'd just whistle and say "Hey you!" He did it to me until I just stopped acknowledging he was even there. One time he was trying to lift and hold an entire cabinet. It was falling and he kept whistling at me to help and I just looked at him while he was struggling. When it finally fell and broke he tried to blame me for it with the boss and I simply told him and the boss that my name isn't *whistle* "hey you" and I won't respond to it.

Gordon is amazing. His anger and rage is only inspired by his passion. These people are competing to be head chefs at the best restaurants in the world, which is why he holds them to such high standards. It’s amazing watching Hells Kitchen, and then seeing him on Masterchef Junior - where he’s trying to inspire kids to grow their passion. Completely different demeanour. You see it in Kitchen Nightmare’s too, the chefs and owners that aren’t willing to put in the work, he always checks out. But when he’s finds someone with that burning passion to succeed as a chef/restaurant owner he really gives them his all.

The funny thing is though, that Gordon Ramsey is - in real life - a good natured, chill kind of guy. He just happens to be the type of person who is extremely passionate about his profession. These types of people are actually everywhere. From the professionals themselves to the fans of said profession. I am NOT a professional wrestler myself and yet I get triggered on their behalf when people just want to be assholes and trolls and call it "fake." I will admit it is choreographed, practiced/rehearsed, and even a show; but I have seen far too many instances of injuries from wrestling to insult the athletes by calling it "fake," Also Ramsey himself has said that Hell's Kitchen is him going "over the top" at times.

His best stuff is from Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares (UK and US), and Master Chef. Watch the crazy stuff first, then watch videos of him liking the food (rare moments), and then look at him being kind, especially with the kids in Master Chef Jr. He will surprise you. There's one clip of him with comedian Ricky Gervais that's absolutely hysterical. And I want to add, I've been a subscriber for awhile because you seem like such a sweet and kind person. Gordon and others involved with his shows have admitted in interviews that the name-calling and insults he makes on TV are mainly for entertainment and shock value and don't necessarily represent the typical experience of working in one of his restaurants. That being said, in many high-class restaurant kitchens there *ARE* chefs that are very intense, but for the most part, it is because they expect and demand high-quality food service. Although I believe there is _never_ a need for personal attacks, just know that the types of restaurants that Gordon Ramsay owns *demand* and *require* the utmost attention and specificity to function. The majority of people going to high-class restaurants have a subconscious expectation that the food and _experience_ they pay a premium price for will be worth it and that's what many chefs like Gordon Ramsay are trying to make sure they get just that.

The guy who got kicked out and had his jacket taken is Josh from Season 3. Hands down he is one of the absolute worst black jackets, considering that he only really got it from others making more mistakes in services. He never had a truly good dinner service performance, having to rely on his teammates, and on the first black jacket dinner service there wasn't any place for him to hide. So yeah after mistake after mistake Chef Ramsay had enough, and made history as both the first chef ever to be eliminated in the middle of a dinner service, and the only black jacket ever to be eliminated in the middle of a dinner service.

Gordon Ramsay is the GOAT. His attitude, for the most part, depends on which show your watching. Most of these clips are from his show Hell's Kitchen which is ALL experienced head chefs battling for a head chef's position at one of HIS resturants, so he does NOT play around with these guys because most of these mistakes are extremely amateur compared to what they should know. If you watch some of his other shows like Master Chef, or his newer one, Next Level Chef, he's a little bit more compasionate and not as aggressive to some of these other contestants because they are NOT experienced head chefs. Mainly just home chef or line cooks. Gorgon Ramsey - Adults Vs. Kids is a must

Yay evolution… doesn’t seem to have the same effect when people put up walls, prevent natural selection, and give everyone the right to live even when they’re the former Darwin Award candidates that would be walking into traffic without looking. If anything, those kids need the REAL Gordon Ramsay more than those cuisine school dropouts on Hell’s Kitchen ever do. He sets expectations based on who he is dealing with. Most of these were from Hell's Kitchen, those contestants are usually head/executive chefs of various restaurants with over a decade of experience so he is at his most savage in that show. When someone who is a head chef can't cook an egg or steak or make a pizza he gets a lot more pissed than if its an amateur or kid or something. Essentially he only gets mad at people who should know better, in Kitchen Nightmares he is usually like this with the vets and chill with amateurs. Then there is Masterchef which is mostly home cooks where unless you are serving raw food hes not too bad. In the kids shows he is practically a ray of sunshine.

if you do watch gordon ramsay, there are two sides to him, the kitchen and outside the kitchen, he was trained by some of the best french chefs in the world, and trained under marko pier white, who was the firs rebel, youngest to have 3 michelan stars i believe, the people who have trained under him at gordon ramsay resturant in london is endless, yeah they took the shouting, his kitchen attitude, alot of these have learned fron gorson and gone on to be world renowned chefs, marcus waering, angela hartnet, the soux chefs on the shows are his trained people. if you watch the shows, where they go out for a meal, he is a totaly different guy, your best friend, he is also devoted to his wife and his rock, Tana Ramsay, you dont see his children in the spot light, the main one is tilly who is following in gordons footsteps with cooking and doing well herself, there is a very good video, its either boiling point or trouble at the top, his story of opening his first resturant, Gordon ramsay In London, and then taking over the savoy in london i think it was.

The main reason he's so angry with the contestants in Hell's Kitchen is they're all supposed to be professional chefs who have worked or are currently working in the food industry, some of them even have their own restaurants. Pro chefs messing up something quite simply like sea bass, salmon, a steak, a risotto or God forbid a spaghetti, is pretty ridiculous, and it's very understandable why he gets so pissed off. Some kids on Masterchef Junior had to replicate Gordon's signature beef wellington, one of the most difficult dishes to make perfectly, and two boys did it if I remember correctly. You can understand the anger in Hell's Kitchen even more when you look at those 12-14 year old kids making food that Gordon would serve in his own restaurants without a question. Also, if you're interested in a dessert king who most of us know from Masterchef Australia, consider reacting to Reynold Poernomo, preferably a compilation of his best desserts from the show. I've never seen someone impress Marco Pierre White, Gordon Ramsay and all the other judges with such unique dishes and ideas. Eating at his dessert bar in Sydney is on my bucket-list for sure.

Things That Get's Gordon Ramsay Yelling at You: 1) Send him raw/overcooked food 2) Talk back to him 3) Doing #1, but the order is his/his sous chefs families 4) Constantly mess up or do something especially stupid, he yells at you to "Get out/F++k off!"

He's like my dad when you help him with anything. Sounds mean but gets you to perform at a higher level.
