Funny that McGonagall sent the Slytherins to the dungeons since their common room is in the dungeons. Kinda implies (at least in the movie) that she sent them to their common room, almost like saying "you lot just get out of the way, don't get involved".

My 2 favorite things in harry potter. The added scene where mcgonagall asks "why is it, when something happens, its always you three?" That wasn't in the books and its my second favorite scene. My first. Is only in the books cuz its dark as hell. Mcgonagall is forced to help open Ravenclaw tower because luna and harry snuck in and knocked out the girl corrow and the other twin knows through book stuff that his sister is in trouble. Mcgonagall is forced into the tower and harry seeing mcgonagall at wand point and had the boy carrow spit in her face, tosses off the cloak and says "crucio" the torture cure. And after about 30 seconds the brother is out. And turns to mcgonagall and says "bellatrix was right professor, you need to really mean it" tldr harry tortures a guy untill he passes out because he sapt in mcgonagalls face. Best missing moment in the movies.

Okay listen up friends: Voldemort split his soul into 7 originally meaning 6 horcruxes and 1 piece of soul that remains in his body. Then, when he tries to kill Haz and the spell rebounds, another piece comes away and attaches to Harry making the total count 6 intentional horcruxes (diary, ring, locket, cup, diadem, Nagini), 1 accidental soul fragment in Harry, and 1 soul fragment in Voldemort meaning 8 pieces of soul in total.

J.K. Rowling always had Snape’s character written from the beginning. Alan Rickman asked J.K. early on when filming because he threatened to quit. She told him the entire story so he would continue.

Harry can come back to life because Voldemort only destroyed his soul inside Harry's body. So harry had a choice to live or die, unlike Dumbledore he died normally so he wouldn't be able to come back to life (so don't get your hopes up, because it happened to me when I first saw the movies and books) 😅

The reason Harry didn't die because Voldemort resurrected himself with Harry's blood. His blood contained Lily's protection which made Voldemort impossible to kill him. Every other person could have kill Harry except Voldemort, but he wanted do it himself, that's the irony. It was explained in the books.

@@candy_trash Actually that time he didn't have phisically nor the cloak Nor the wand. No one ever posessed all the three Hallows together. Yes, it was different in the book; all underage students were evacuated through the secret new tunnel, to Aberforths pub, the Hogs Head, and the 17 and above could choose to stay, they were of age- but not the Slytherins. That's good so they don't had to fight to kill their classmates or their parents... Better for all, themselves included, to don't have that option. I mean, this is civil war. You may fight your neighbours, even relatives, sometimes .

Let's imagine a viewer who only saw the movies talking to David Yates, the director. - Geat movie, great movie, but I have a couple of questions. - Sure, go ahead. - What's up with this mirror ? Where is it coming from ? - Oh, well, we needed a way to save them but we forgot to introduce the mirror in the previous films, so we just added it here and hoped nobody would noticed. - Oh, I see. Same kind of question, i didn't know that Lupin had a son. - Oh, we forgot to talk about it ? Well, now you know. - Ok, hum, congratulations I guess... So, I didn't quite understand why Harry didn't die in the forrest ? - Ah ? Hum...isn't it obvious ? Why don't you try to figure it out ? - ... ok, and why is Voldemort slapping and punching Harry, and they are scratching each others faces and shit ? That was weird ! - You think ? No, it was spectaculare, one of my most brillant idea actually. - If you say so. So they arrive in this empty courtyard. Where is everybody else ? - They're drinking tea in the great hall, obviously. - Obviously... Ok, so last question, how does Voldemort die exaclty ? - Ahhh, great one. See, since a few movies ago, they stopped pronouncing the actual spell, so now you can imagine what you want. Another one of my brillant idea. So here, Harry actually casted a "turn into confetti" spell. Haha, poor Voldemort didn't see that one coming. Ok, so everything is clear for you now ?

There’s a thought that mcgonagall sent the slytherins to the dungeons so they wouldn’t have to choose between their friends in the school and their parents from voldemort’s side. Mcgonagall didn’t want the slytherins to fight their own parents in the battle:/
@warithalghul4578

😂😂😂😂 Nah, she did it because they are Slytherin and the other always think that everyone of them is just a young death eater, so they are bad guys, so McGonagall has to put them out of battle quick, but like killing children is not good for the good side, she only put them in prisión.

The math on horcruxes is always messed up by people. If you split your soul in two, you can make one horcrux and keep the other to keep your body alive and yourself in physical existence. However many pieces you break your soul into, one has to be reserved for staying alive and in the world. Seven pieces = six horcruxes. Teen-Tom Riddle intended to split his soul into seven pieces. 'Master of Death' is pure nonsense. The Peverell brothers never met Death as a conscious being; that was the mythologizing of history. The Three Brothers were a historical fact (there is a grave of at least one of them, which Hermione has seen) and the artifacts they originated are also historical fact (Harry inherited the Cloak, Tom Riddle inherited the Stone, and Dumbledore owned the Wand). But the rest is a good story and that 'Master of Death' hooey doesn't even make sense in the folktale. -Antioch Peverell died because he showed off this powerful wand, which made him a target for theft and murder. Seems to me if the folktale was 'historical' that the Wand was a trick to cause Antioch's death. -Cadmus Peverell died because the Stone could not really resurrect his fiancé; he hung himself to join her, so the Stone would have been another trick to harvest another fool. -Only Ignatus Peverell lived a long life by having a secretive defensive artifact, which he bequeathed to his descendants. Even so, death cannot be avoided, so how does this make him master of it? At best Ignatus put off his death until he was ready to go; that's not mastery, that's some combination of management and luck. None of this Deathly Hallows nonsense impacted Harry's resistance to death. It was wandlore that explains it. Wands will refuse to harm their true masters. Dumbledore took advantage of that fact by having Draco disarm him with no knowledgeable witnesses present. Draco didn't know he was the Elder Wand's master. And later Harry disarms Draco by wrestling Draco's original wand away from him, which caused the Elder Wand to redirect its loyalty to Harry. Snape was never the master of the Elder Wand and Voldemort was in error thinking you had to kill the previous master to gain a wand's loyalty. Dumbledore set a barrier in place that would protect Harry from being killed by the Elder Wand. But the Elder Wand had no proscriptions against killing the piece of Voldemort's soul that was parasitizing Harry. Yes; saying 'lumos' turns on your smartphone's flashlight and 'nox' turns it off. Good that you caught Snape (a champion wand duelist) was not fighting back at McGonagall. Snape did deflect her attacks at the Carrows behind him, knocking them out. In his flopping escape, he actually grabs their wands so they are defenseless. Please notice that when Lucius calls Draco over, Draco looked to be resolute to ignore him. It's only when Draco's mother Narcissa calls him that he goes to HER, avoiding his father. (Voldemort stepping forward and hugging Draco was unscripted, which explains the awkwardness of it.) An edited-out part of this scene was Draco throwing his wand to Harry after he falls from Hagrid's arms. Draco has made a choice, and it's a rejection of his father and his ways. Narcissa only cared about her son. She also rivals Snape in having an incredible poker face. Narcissa disobeys Voldemort to convince Snape to protect Draco. Then, after ascertaining whether Draco is still alive at Hogwarts, she lies to Voldemort so she can get to the school grounds and find Draco. As soon as Voldemort is distracted by fighting with Harry, she takes her son's hand and marches him straight out of the battle area; loser Lucius scrambles behind them. Watching Molly Weasley so completely dispatch that 'bitch' Bellatrix explains where Ginny Weasley gets her intense power. Harry and Ginny have two sons and a daughter, the youngest son is Albus Severus Potter (initials ASP; he actually DOES get sorted into Slytherin). Slytherin has never been seen as 'evil', just expedient. They're the ones who'd most work with 'situational ethics'. Each house is based on specific values, which the Sorting Hat reads in the individual to determine placement. The values in Slytherin, depending on how the individual applies them, can more easily than other Houses' values lead to selfish choices. Note: Professor Slughorn is a Slytherin, and he fought on the side of Hogwarts. But he also saw what Voldemort was and suffered shame as a result; there was no profit, comfort, or stability in what Tom Riddle wrought. Slughorn's Slytherin values rejected that. Note: Draco did a 180 and became an auror (as did Harry) for the Ministry of Magic. Once he was out of his father's influence, he came to realize Voldemort was not the way to go and pretty much everything Lucius stood for was problematic. Note: Narcissa was a Slytherin and she mainly applied herself to keep her son safe. She privately (secretly) rejected this Voldemort nonsense entirely, seeing no real benefit in it. Slytherins have just as much option to live within the Light instead of the Dark as any member of any other House. As far as sending Slytherin House to the 'dungeons', I understood that it kept them from the conflict of having to choose family or school loyalty, since most of Voldemort's wizard/witch followers were themselves Slytherins. The schoolkids would be pressed for intell, pressed into service, used as spies or 'cannon-fodder' soldiers, etc. Plus, there were casualties on both sides; don't want kids traumatized watching their parents get killed or injured.

The reason Harry didn't die in the forest is not because of the Elder wand. Harry was willing to die, the wand respects its owner wishes. Dumbledore explains in the book that Harry didn't die because Voldemort took his blood in Goblet of Fire, keeping Lily's sacrifice alive in the same time.
