Just fyi the two girls don't understand how a dragon getting a new rider works, it's not like an inheritance, or a pony or something. The dragon chooses the rider, basically if they don't want you as their rider they kill you and just because your mom rode a dragon doesn't mean the child has any right to it. Vhagar chose Aemond.
It's not entirely clear what caused Rhaneyra's unborn child death in show. We don't know how far along she was - she could be 6th month, 7th month, 8th month... Six month permature babe would not survive, but 7-8 month old could. In book Rhaenyra was 8th month pregnant, so baby would be able to survive and it was not premature birth that caused death, but rather some other factor. Rhaenyra in book blames Greens for causing her stress and she declares they are the one responsible for death of her daughter - but book also reportes that girl was twisted and had hole in place of heart, so it suggest little Princess was doomed anyway, stress or not, and Rhaenyra was simply dealing with grieve while accusing Greens, as Greens could not be resposnible for lack of heart of course.
1:36 - We all wonder too. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Apparently Criston is one of two characters that somehow found Fountain of Eternal Youth. Second one is Mysaria - according to screenwriters she is between 50 and 59 a the end of season 1. Actress is in late 30s, so they truly made issue where they didn't have to - Mysaria could be in 40 at the end of s1 and it would work just fine. But no - they had to aged her up and caused hilarious situation when she looks incredibly youthful despire apparently being elder lady.
12:58 His dead wife was Aemma which means he's hallucinating a bit probably cause of his sickness. 11:28 Those are the people who Larys had their tongues removed. 24:06 I think leprosy. He's been sick since episode 1 when he got cuts from the throne. 25:53 She now thinks he wants her son Aegon to be king instead of Rhyanera. 38:24 He never told Daemon about the song of ice and fire which is basically the game of thrones story. That means Viserys never saw Daemon as his heir.
Yes, Alicent married her son to her daughter. It was common among Targaryens to marry sibling or other close kins; they are inspired by Egyptian Pharaohs. Jacaerys and Helaena dance was indeed cute... 💗💗💗 They would be happy together, but Alicent preffered for her daughter her incompetent, drinker brother rather than gallant and noble like Prince Jacaerys 😢
I mean this as constructive, I'd suggest not binging season 2. Watching the eps one week at a time is a lot less overwhelming and more understandable 😊
"I don't remember Otto having even one good moment" - Rmember, ironically, it was Otto who first suggested to Viserys that Rhaenyra should be heir insetad of Daemon 😉 Even if he later crowned his grandson, whole idea of Rhaenyra being Queen was in major part his contribution.
