We were robbed of the real Flashpoint Paradox storyline in the DCEU.

It’s crazy how the animated dc movies are INFINITELY better than the entire dceu

R.I.P Kevin Conroy, who voiced Batman in this film, DCAU and Arkham Series. Also Nora Allen and Martha Wayne is voiced by Grey DeLisle, who voiced Catwoman in the Arkham series. Also Superman is voiced by Tim Daly, son. Michael B Jordon voiced Cyborg. Ron Perlman reprised his role as Deathstroke aka Slade, who voiced him in Teen Titans. 3:06, yes, yes it is.

You should watch "Batman:Under the Redhood" it's not within this universe but it is too damn good to miss out on.

Zoom aka Thawne was a Flash fan from the future, he replicated his powers to be the new Flash but went insane when learned he was predestined to be his enemy, so he would torment Barry’s whole life. He also killed everyone who got in his way, his younger brother, parents, every boyfriend his crush had until it was just him, but when she rejected, he went back to torment her as a child which put her in a mental hospital.

When Batman reads the letter from his father, he takes off his cowl, so he can read it as Bruce.

One of the best animated movies out there. The comic is actually even more insane.

These animated DC movies are sick AF

Whilst some are definitely better than others, there isn’t a single one of these DCAMU movies that aren’t at the very least enjoyable to watch. I’d definitely recommend checking them all out if you’re interested.

The reveal of the Joker twist in the Flashpoint timeline was so well executed. It's something that they didn't really need to include but adds so much to the Thomas Wayne Batman character. You were surprised earlier that Joker was still alive with Flashpoint Batman being willing to kill. That's why.

It’s not stated in this, but in the comics and most Flash media, Thawne was the one who killed Barry’s mother. He can’t kill the Flash as a child because it would mean he never gets to be his enemy, so he dedicates his life to making Barry’s life miserable. Other acts include erasing Barry’s childhood best friend from existence so he would grow up alone and, I shit you not, pushing him down the stairs.

This is the live action Flash that should have been.

The guy strapped into the submarine is Captain Atom. The main thing you need to know about him is that he's basically a living nuke.

By not having the same presures that the movies have the animations have much more freedom. You didn't recognize some characters but still had fun, because the people behind are much more focused in creating a interesting story than setting up a sequel or an arc

Batman Under The Red Hood is definitely one you have to check out

If you want to hear more of Kevin Conroy's Batman voice (why wouldn't you?), I highly recommend watching Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and the Animated Series.

I cannot tell you enough how INFINITELY BETTER this is than the live action movies. This is what live action SHOULD HAVE done! This animated universe is OUTSTANDING and each movie is PG13 Or R and they're all about 1.5 ish hours so totally digestible in a short time. I urge you to please watch them all and react to them all then tell all your friends!

Yea, animated part of DC is REALLY good

With Martha Wayne being the joker in that universe, it makes sense why a more violent Batman still wouldn’t kill the joker.

The DCAMU is very hit or miss for me. It's fully based on the New 52 which on itself was pretty mixed but the quality of these films go up or down and lack alot of the personality of past shared universes like the DCAU. But Flashpoint Paradox is a great film that showcases a more Post Crisis line up and character designs while also using many of the same voice actors from the DCAU like Kevin Conroy as Batman. All of this changes in the next film that acts as a reboot set in the new timeline created after Flashpoint. So don't be worry about being confused on why certain characters are meeting for the first time, Everything post Flashpoint is set in a new younger universe than the one we saw at the start and end of Flashpoint. But yeah I personally prefer the DCAU (Batman Animated Series to Justice League Unlimited) from it's timeless art direction with a Dark Deco Gotham City with blimps, retro looking cars and fashion contrasted with an Art Deco retro futuristic Metropolis where it's more sci fi retro futuristic. The universe just had a better art direction while the DCAMU falls flat on locations making them look like generic cities. Also mixed on character designs etc as well so it's an interesting universe that for many is hit or miss.

I don't know if someone's already told you in the comments, but the guy in white you don't know the name is Captain Atom, a superhero that is made of radioactive energy contained inside his suit, that's why Aquaman exploded him, the guy is one big ass atomic bomb. Also, I don't know if you got it, but the guy who exploded himself inside the leviathan like monster is Hal Jordan, aka the Green Lantern played by Ryan Reynolds in that mess of a movie.

Yep Kevin Conroy voices Batman here, and the Arkham games, for which he voiced Batman in the 90's Animated Series as well...he IS the animated Batman.

The Evil flash is called Reverse Flash he's an evil speedster from the future. His name is Eoabard Thawn and he grew up worshipping the flash in the future. He wanted to be the flash so bad he recreated the accident that gave Barry his powers. Eoabard travelled back in time to meet the flash but found out that his destiny was to be his greatest enemy. The revelation drove him made if he couldn't be the flash then he would be the Reverse Flash. The opposite of Barry in every way. He tormented Barry throughout his childhood,burned down his childhood home,killed his mom, childhood pet and best friend.

They silver man in the pod is called captain atom. He gained his powers in a similar way to dr Manhattan however the device he was inside of compressed into him so now his skin is made of highly durable metal strong enough to contain a nuclear bomb which contains his nuclear powers, what u just saw was the result of his skin being pierced causing him to go off like a nuke

This series of films sparked my newfound love for DC, and I think this is the perfect time to watch them with the new universe coming soon. Hope you react to the rest of them!

It was not saving his mom in of it self that changed the timeline of events. When he broke the time barrier it made a ripple in time like a sonic boom makes a ripple in the air. It is a neat concept that makes doing timetravle a unpredictable action.

His silver skin is actually a really tough, skintight suit that contains his energy, if it rips he pretty much turns into a giant nuke and dies. Also he's really strong, enough to give superman and wonder woman a tough time. In the main world he's a superhero but in this is captured by atantis

The entirety of DCAU films and shows will give you that feeling that the live action movies just can't ever do no matter how or when they do get better. They've definitely taught me a lot about the DC characters over the years.

i love dcamu i grew up with it bc of my parents and brothers as well as dceu and the mcu and i've gotta say my favorite things out of these universes has gotta be x-men first class, young justice, and batman/superman public enemies. i just love rewatching these bc they're so good. i would 100% recommended them to anyone that likes superhero stuff 😭

16:10 that is anew version of Nightwing now called Grifter. They rewrote the character from the Wildcats to be Nightwing. The Wildcats were a group of heroes that fight against aliens that possess people. Grifter is masked one that uses guns.
