You are correct, the scene with the Crazy 88 was black and white so the film could receive an 'R' rating in the US. The international cut is in full color. Ironically, many of the shots actually look more gruesome in black and white - largely because of how cartoonishly vibrant the blood is. I personally love the use of black and white. I would love to see a version that re-added the cut moments from the international version - but maintained the black and white aesthetic of the US cut.

The style is super important. Gone Girl, Ready or Not are some that come to mind. They just have a style about them that are very sexy

The "alarm" sound when the Bride is about to face one of her attackers is actuall from an old TV show show called "Ironside". Note: Part 2 has less fight scenes but gives us the backstiry we all want to know,. There is once scene in Part 2 that gave me a panic attack ans i had to leave the theater for a couple of minutes. I have since rewatched it.
