Fun fact: watching every currently-existing Ninjago episode- not including any mini-movies, a semi-canon video game, the movie, or any canon Legacy shorts- is the equivalent of something like a 60-hour marathon. That's a far cry from the 10 hours that Ninjago was originally planned for.
Woah...I wonder how Much it would be to watch all the shorts and play Shadow of Ronin as well as the whole series including Season One of Dragons Rising.
*You are in for one hell of a ride* This show is so *GOATED* and unbelievably underrated with multiple seasons, so much cool worldbuilding, stories, characters and villains. Can't wait until you guys start season 1. This show was my childhood and it'll always have a special place in my heart
The OST in this is insane. The composers said they were only.paod to do certain character themes, but they decided to score it like a movie even though they weren't making that much money from it. I'd say it was definitely worth it.
Fun fact 30:47 they changed wus voice everything was already recorded for him but decided to change it to what we have now and something happened with changing the audio and that line stayed in so that would of been his voice if they didn’t change it that’s why he sounds different
@AtheistRosary bro I havnt just listened to the weekend whip I’ve played that song so many times you can’t even count it at this point I have over a week of listening time to that song probably even more then a month even I have memoried every line front back left right upside down whatever order you can image
The humor is really on point... especially coming from Jay. His overthinking and freak-outs are so much entertaining... And let's not forget that Zane's lack of sense of humor always gives some good laughs as well.
Someone actually made a dialogue between Wu, Froh, Oogway, Yoda, Dumbledore and Gandalf with AI-generated voices. You'll find it on RU-vid if you search for "Yoda and the Council of Not-So-Wise". It's actually really funny.
26:32 Btw their gi changed, They used the trainee gi when they were searching the golden weapons, but when they allied with the dragons, they all gained their DX suits which stands for dragon extreme
I LOVE NINJAGO!! It's really one of those shows that keeps going and no one gets tired of it, since the series ages like fine wine, even if it has had its low points. Not to mention I just love the twists in the story. I bet none of you will expect the big surprises each season has to offer... I have to confess that I have stopped watching the latter seasons (including the new Ninjago series), so I decided to start re-watching the series from the beginning. Just for contextualization... all the young Ninja are teens, with almost all of them being around 15-16 when the story starts. Nya is around 14... But Master Wu and Garmadon are actually centuries old, even if biologically they would be on their 40s-50s.
Ooh ive been waiting for this one oh theres a bunch of shorts btw that are kind of important that happen in between the pilots and season 1 The OST I think is what really gave ninjago its vibe and allowed it to stay, its got such style and personality That voice is legendary Mark Oliver, he just makes any villain instantly better Maybe you could also take a glance at the lego sets for the season you look at, could be neat Lego shows actually have quite a bit of variety in tone, Bionicle before is like super lore heavy and quite dark, sillier stuff like mixels, and even basically anime Monkie Kid
@@MiniDushC-Bloom is done. He might react to season 2 of DR but he says that by May or before May he’ll stop reacting to everything. I hope he does season 2 tho
Same. I don’t really know. I think she was used as bait to lure Kai and the others into a trap. Since Garmadon couldn’t grab the sword of fire he needed one of the ninja to do it.
So glad more people are doing reactions for Ninjago! You two are in for a treat as Ninjago is the kind of show that gets better as time goes on. A bit of lore regarding the Skeletons (called Skulkin) and the Underworld that's not mentioned in the show. It's one of the realms that run parallel to Ninjago. It functions as a purgatory of sorts for fallen warriors and animals who failed to realize or accept their passing, trapped in a state of limbo, collectively called Skulkin. They highlighted obedience, anger, ruthlessness, and, bizarrely, stupidity as their main virtues.
This is my all time favorite show! I remember watching it when it first aired on Cartoon Network like 12-13 years ago. Really hope it does well so you guys can continue it.
The best seasons for anyone not blinded, usually start at season 8, then theres a few more, but some people add season 4 and the new series is actually really good, I mean, if you even care
Also i'm sure somebody has given you the order but just in case not follow this order Piolts Season 1 Rise Of The Snakes Season 2 The Final Battle Season 3 Rebooted Season 4 Tournament of Elements Season 5 Possession Season 6 Skybound Ninjago Day Of The Departed 45 minute special Season 7 Hands Of Time Season 8 Sons of Garmadon Season 9 Hunted Season 10 March Of The Oni Season 11 Secrets of the forbidden spinjitzu Season 12 Prime Empire Season 13 Master of The Mountain The Island 40 minute special Season 14 Seabound Season 15 Crystalized Dragons Rising season 1
I really enjoyed this and im happy your enjoying it! Ninjago is a great show and i hope that it sticks around. So have a nice day and have fun on watching ninjago!
The lessons are always something I really really appreciate in movies, tv series, books, etc. And Ninjago I kept in my mind two, which I won't say yet if you guys consider watching the rest.
If you want to watch the show, wahtch it in season chronology. The only "extra" things you have to watch are Day of the Departed, taking place between season 6 and 7, and The Island special, which is 4 episodes and is debated on whether it it is season 14 or just a special.
I don't think you should call the "Day of the Departed" and "The Island" as extras, since they are essencial for continuity... for obvious reasons. But, yeah, they need to be careful with the way they watch the show.
To be fair about the Kai, Goku hair comparison, in the first Ninjago game that recapped the pilot the game's image for Kai used a hair piece that was pretty one to one with Goku's. This was mostly cause Kai's hairstyle wasn't made into a minifig hair piece til the start of season 3 when their new outfits didn't cover their hair.
Ninjago came out when I was born, Ive been watching it my whole life, and I don't understand either, also Netflix has all the episodes except for Dragons Rising season 2 part 2 which is on prime or leaked on youtube
Actually, these pilots episodes were aired as four 11 minutes episodes but then got turned into two episodes of 22 minutes each, which were the ones that you’ve reacted to, but before you start season one which is called rise of the snakes, you should watch some shorts that takes place between the pilots and the first season, the shorts in order are called: Secrets of the blacksmith Flight of the dragon ninja The new Masters of Spinjitzu An Underwordly takeover Return to the fire temple Battle between brothers
If you guys liked this just letting you know this is the lowest budget and weakest point of the show. So it only gets better from here. By the time you catch up they use unreal engine to animate it and the animation is the most gorgeous thing you’ll ever see
If you decide to explore more Lego animated series, then I suggest you watch Lego Nexo Knights. After Ninjago, that one is my favorite!! Unfortunately, the series got cancelled before it could get a proper ending because apparently season 5 would be a little more expensive to animate... But I bet you would love it as well.
Yeah the story wasn't too special but it did mix it up a little and used the tropes effectively and was charming enough to have a strong foundation for the stories in seasons after
Every season gets better and better except season 7 but season 8-10 are the most peak ninjago seasons which are a trilogy. The show also gets darker and the lore is soooo good
