The little kid who played Homer (Joshua John Miller) is Jason Patrick’s half brother and the son of the actor who played Father Karas in the exorcist. Joshua also played in the River edge.
the hunger is another good 80´s vampire movie, but its a different vibe. its more dramatic, with susan sarandon, catherine deneuve and david bowei. Vamp with grace jones (not sure you already saw) Dance of the Damned its a little more b version type of movie Innocent Blood its from 92, but still have 80´s vibes...
This movie came out the same year as The Lost Boys and the year after Aliens. Have you seen Aliens? Didn't you recognize Severin as Hudson, Jessie as Bishop, and Diamondback as Vasquez? I think the three of them had the tight chemistry of going right from a James Cameron movie to a Kathryn Bigelow movie. Cameron and Bigelow were married a couple years later. This is probably my favorite vampire movie.
