Captain Jack Sparrow's introduction on his sinking vessel perfectly established his character and set his wacky escapades and action. 'You best start believing in Ghost stories' was chilling. This one set the benchmark if the Pirates saga. To think it's based on a ride.
Hi, I just want to say I found your RU-vid site 2 days ago and I love it! Your reactions are honest and funny and very intelligent. I've been catching up on your past uploads and I would love to see your reactions to the sequel of the 300, which is "300: Rise of an Empire." Both this and the 300 are based on actual historical events. Indeed, we are speaking English today because of Leonidas and the 300 Spartans who held off Xerxes army for a few days, allowing the other Greek City-States to unite. If they had not done that then all of us would be speaking only Farsi (Persian/Iran) today and there would be no democracy. The "300" dealt with the Battle of Thermopylae (Hot Gates: thermo = hot and pylae = gates). "300: Rise of an Empire" covers the sea Battle of Salamis. And one final note, if you go to Thermopylae in Greece today, you will see the large monument to Leonidas and his 300!
Nobody ever wonders why, if the medallion calls to the cursed pirates, who can walk under water, they get so worried about people threatening to drop it off the ship into the water
because people with brains know about ocean pressure. their walking under is on shores where ordinary humans can walk. did you not hear about the Titan implosion?
@@toomanyaccounts These are undead pirates thought. They can’t be killed by anything unless the curse is broken. I think the better response and answer is that the ocean is vast, deep and treacherous. Even if the curse did allow them to survive underwater and theoretically under immense pressure, it would take them a life time to find the medallion. With all the rocks, shells, debris, carrion etc., it’s like finding a needle in a haystack, in the dark.
This movie is based on a Disneyworld ride targeted towards kids and families. You rode through in little boats on a track under about a foot of water, you went past scenes of animatronic comical pirates like this. My parents took us through over 50 years ago.
"Take what ya can, give nothin' back...." I absolutely DO NOT care what anyone says, Johnny Depp was and IS the only actor who can effectively give Captain Jack Sparrow his drunken smarminess and swagger.
@@adamskeans2515 I've gotten that commentary before, but what I meant was that his swagger was on par with someone who spent their money in a bar all night.
So in regards to them, carrying the canoe upside down. If they had enough strength and weight, they could technically do that. But 2 could not in my opinion and they would eventually run out of air. If you ever try to take a bucket and push it down to the bottom of water where none of the air escapes you can do it, but it's very, very hard. To do that with a the air inside and the wood making it want to float.I think would be impossible with 2 men. Again also eventually they would run out of breathable air according to how far they had to go.
If by chance you ever visit America, you have to ride the ride Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland! There are a couple things in the movie they took fromt the ride and other things from real life pirates of 17th and 18th Centuries.
Please kindly start reacting to The Equalizer 2 & 3 movies starring Denzel Washington. And please watch 22 Jump Street starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the lead roles.
wrong. it was flown by Western pirates during the 18th century. "The flag most commonly identified as the Jolly Roger today - the skull and crossbones symbol on a black flag - was used during the 1710s by a number of pirate captains, including Black Sam Bellamy, Edward England, and John Taylor. It became the most commonly used pirate flag during the 1720s, although other designs were also in use."
Hello I am bobby From Andhra Pradesh I am big fan of your work from the first channel where anurag the short guy with you I really wanted to request please watch the movie incredible hulk and react
When Jack and Will are underwater using the boat to create an air pocket; you’re right. It’s not possible unless they have the combined strength of the Hulk. The air would simply cause them to rise to the surface.
That's not really true, it's dependent on if their weight could counter the buoyancy of the air and wood. If what you said were true then submarines wouldn't work, but because they use ballasts to increase their weight to decend and decrease it to ascend it works. The small submarine that Navy Seals use is a good example of a modern version of what they did in the movie. But it's about weight, not strength.
