So Felix' associates probably would have made it miserable on campus for Oliver even if Felix himself kept his nice guy image by not bullying Felix directly. Depending how angry Felix was it might even have caused some career doors to close for Oliver, Oxford degree or not. And he would have hated seeing Felix anymore even if there were no harassment.

I believe Oliver went to Oxford to become a different person; a version of himself who would absolutely belong in that world. I think he fell for Felix and developed a plan that would result in him being able to live that life WITH Felix. Everything we saw was the constant adaptation of said plan based on the events occurring around him.

If Farleigh has a story to tell, then all things would come alive. Archie said that he loved karaoke when he brought his character a gift. The story hasn’t been told but I know that Farleigh has a true passion of singing, that will save his life from the huge downfall. My indication is that Farleigh overcame his fate and look what he made it. His hope will make his old home beautiful again, his parents’ settlement to end, his strength to be restored by God, and his own time to help people from similar experiences. Imagine if he found out that the Cattons are dead knowing that Oliver is behind it, it’ll be way too devastating but he’ll tell God that he’s ready to fight again and save or restore their home in the nick of time. Emerald Fennell is really good and keeping secrets and even the darker ones. If Farleigh was dead in the present day, all hope will be lost. But some people will fight for justice against Oliver. As a matter of fact, Farleigh is the last hope to break a deadly fifteen year curse in Oliver’s mind game.

He could never be satisfied because he'd always compare himself to someone better off. He probably will not be happy in the long term because he can't get the old money network to accept him no matter how much he has.

So the Cattons (Felix, Venetia, James, and Elspeth) are the vampires on different terms and quests. Oliver is the most powerful vampire yet. Everything is a lie but would they, could they, we don’t know? If the Cattons don’t care about other people’s feelings, being ignorant to people, never accepting their heartbreaks, and wanting something worthy, they’re inhuman. If Oliver lied a lot and takes everything they had etc., he’s inhuman. Instead of feeding poor people’s misery, the Cattons feed anything that’s beautiful, shiny, and radiant, especially people with their glow to do the favors or anything. Oliver didn’t eat the rich since he’s rich, so he “collected” the rich along with the glow they fed for blood sacrifices to maintain order in Saltburn. Farleigh and Duncan are human because they maintained their emotions and feelings in order accept their grief and guilt to learn from their mistakes without punishing those. The staff team is on the verge of being a group of vampire hunters while they watched Oliver walking in shame. There’s so much more to this story when the DVDs/Blu-Rays were coming soon.

And since the family was so important because of its name, they were presumptuous to think they were the top of the food chain. They liked the feeling of "helping the miserable" because it showed their power, and how it went beyond any solid quantity of money.

I immediately made Farleigh enemy #1 after their 1st interaction lol. Was so glad he was able to finally dispatch with him. However, don't you think Farleigh would come back to Saltburn in a flash forward post-credit scene and test the waters? He'd have to at least begrudgingly give Oliver his props at having pulled off one of the best long cons ever.
