Brad Pitt's accent is actually very good as he is playing a Traveller (gypsy) which is slightly diff from mainland Ireland. Think Tyson Fury. I have come into many British travellers in London in my lifetime and Brad's accent is surprisingly accurate

@@loisthehedgehog7658 guess it wasn’t bad! Actually pretty good. “Many, many gypsies talk a lot like that. It's not a regional dialect, it's just how some of us talk. Brad Pitt was taught by a relative of mine (Bobby Frankham) to fight mainly, but also to act like a traveller, and he even lived with him for a time while training so he could see how we live. Just shows alot of the humour is universal despite not everybody understanding the accents. You are right though mate, it is definitely worth watching again to fully appreciate it all. There is so much happening early on you are concenttrating more on learning the plot than enjoying the jokes. Tyrone, Lenny and Vincent in the car still one of the funniest things ever.

And Gypsy is also a derogatory (and incorrect) name for the Roma-people. The name originated because when originally Romani-migrants came to England, the English had not heard of India (where they emigrated from), but had heard of Egypt thanks to the Bible which gave them an excuse to discriminate. Check out lock, stock, and two smokin barrels by Guy. It was the original, this was made for a more American audience

I had this on DVD and there was a play option called "Say what, pikey?" where only Brad Pitt was subtitled.

Snatch is one of those British ghetto fabulous Guy Ritchie films that just gives everything, the humour, the acting and at times the gore but also good direction. 👍

This is a masterpiece of filmmaking... if ya dug this one, then ya may also wanna check out: "Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels" my man... As it is yet another fine British film in the exact vein of dryly British stoicism; that uniquely English approach to filmmaking that has such an unpredictably "twisted/twisting" Tragedy/Comedy kind of styling to it's vibe. Both "Snatch" & "LS&TSB" are absolutely brilliant films, and they are just overall great viewings which are personal favorites of mine.

YES! You gotta react to lock stock and two smoking barrels next, they’re two movies cut from the same cloth

6:54 Lenny James (Morgan from The Walking Dead/FTWD) This is a very British/cockney (east London accent/rhyming slang) movie. Some American people don't really get it entirely or the accents but you grasped it really well. And 'gypo's' or travellers are Irish but have a more faster exaggerated accent normally.

One of my favorite all time movies. You have a great selection of choices that your watching. Keep em coming and I'll keep watching. Blimey pikey One of the best parts is when Bricktop is explaining what the word Nemesis means. Never mess with a man who owns a pig farm is a lesson I learned from the movie lol.

FYI want to check out another amazing Guy Richie film check out Rocknrolla. Also check out the movie that was like a prequel to Snatch and it's called Lock Stock, and 2 smoking barrels. You wont be disappointed.
