Giving an early headsup - Please make sure to catch the end credits bit for End Game(when you get to it). Almost every reactor misses it because they fast forward to the end of the credits and don't see anything, so they think nothing is there and end up exiting and missing it. While there isn't a scene at the end, there is an audio clip.
Guys, you need to find here on youtube a video - "What Thor was doing during Captain America Civil War movie". It is the video you can even react to. It is absolutely priceless 3 minutes and 30 seconds of content :D
5:16 Oh yeah, That's Matt Damon alright. And the part of Thor is played by Chris' brother, Luke Hemsworth, while Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) is playing Odin.
This is by far the best Thor movie, and top 5 in the entire MCU. Taika Wahiti managed to balance the action/drama and crazy comedy.... it's a very fine line, but managed to tread it!
Best part of this movie is Hulk ragdolling Thor like he did to Loki in the first Avengers movie. I find it hilarious though that that's the same actor who played Julius Caesar on Xena: Warrior Princess playing Skurge, Karl Urban Two points: 1. Loki looks DAMN good in Earth clothes 2. Hulk's mental capacity depends on how Bruce transforms. If he does it willingly, like in the Battle in New York, he has complete control over himself and he speaks more clearly. But if he gets triggered into changing by something outside of his control, Hulk will be a living battering ram with, as Tony Stark once said....with BREATHTAKING anger management issues.
Incase no one has listed the characters on the Grandmasters tower they are Top Hulk Below right - Aries Below left - Bata ray Bill Bottom right - Bi Beast Bottom left - Darkcrawler Bottom center - Man Thing
That was totally Matt Damon. I'm sorry but it's true That was totally Matt Damon I'm not imagining it's you On the bed, on the floor On a towel by the door In the tub, in the car Up against the mini-bar
You all better split Infinity War and Endgame into two parts because your editing of these videos are awful. And dammit, stop reacting in a room with ply-boards behind your damn heads.
YOU GUYS ARE COMIN DOWN TO IT, SO ILL MENTION IT AGAIN. SOON AFTER INFINITY WAR YOU GUYS NEED TO WATCH THE X MEN MOVIES AND DAREDEVIL SEASEON 1, ESPECIALLY BEFORE STARTING THE DISNEY PLUS SERIES. AND MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS.
I kind of Agree with the comment 👇 about you guys Skip a-bunch of Good/Funny lines in the movie. But I also know that What’s Funny to Me is Not to Others and the other Way Around (but I was a lil Disappointed not gonna Lie)
There is an animated movie called planet Hulk you should check out which isn't Canon to the MCU but it is a great movie. Also there is a animated movie called Hulk versus Thor you should check out as well.
So surter is an immensely powerful being that Odin once defeated but has also fought Odin, Thor and Loki all together on even terms. Also don’t be fooled by mcu Loki is extremely powerful despite mcu stuff in comics Strange and Hulk have never been able to beat him.
Love you guys and Marvel Monday... although I'm watching this on Tuesday... great movie but never see anyone comment on the fact that they picked the perfect Zeppelin song for Thor's God of Thunder entrances... I mean come on, perfect drive, lyrics dealing with Norse mythology.... was there ever another choice? "We come from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow. The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new land, to fight the horde and sing, and cry Valhalla, I am coming"
Hela first appeared in Jounery into Mystery #102 in March 1964 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. She is the Asgardian Goddess of Death and the ruler of Niflheim, the Asgardian Underworld for the souls of dishonored warriors. Her various schemes and attempted conquests have brought her into conflict most often with Thor, but she has also battled the Warriors Three, the X-Men and Hulk. Hela is extremely powerful and possesses the powers of Immortality, Black Magic, Necromancy, and Teleportation, amongst others.
you need to fire your editor. this is yet another movie where your reaction to the biggest/most famous money line is missing (in this case, “he’s a friend from work”)
Hello, check out a movie called, 1492: Conquest of Paradise. Adventure/Drama (1992). It stars Gérard Depardieu, Siqourney Weaver, Armante Assante. It portrays a version of the travels to the New World by the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus and the effect this had on indigenous peoples. Directed by Ridley Scott. Thank you, Chris.
Oh yeah they fight CRAZY in the comics. One that comes to mind is when Hulk had enough of Wolverine (Logan killed all Hulks inbred kids) so Hulk ATE Wolverine... He then had terrible indigestion because Wolverine healed in his stomach and just sliced his way out... Grovey
It's funny that way. Every culture which has a religion has an end of the world scenario. Ragnorak is the Viking myth about the end of the world. And it was Matt Damon. :)
Ragnarok is the Norse Apocalypse, when the giants will rise up to battle the Aesir (the gods), and destroy the world. It will be preceded by the Fimbulwinter; 3 terrible and frigid winters rolled into one. The noble warriors of Valhalla, the Einherjar, will be called forth by Heimdallr, sounding the Gjallarhorn, to face the dishonored dead as they sail forth from Hel on Naglfar, the Ship of Nails (built from the uncut fingernails of the dead) and led by Hela herself. Fenrir, the terrible wolf, will break free from his chains and devour the sun and the moon, before facing Odin, whom he will swallow whole. Odin will not go unavenged however, as his son Vidarr will use the Thickmost Shoe (crafted from all the leavings and scraps of cobblers) to step on Fenrir's lower jaw, and force his upper jaw back, breaking him in half. Thor will face off against Jormungandr, the World Serpent, who shall free himself from biting his own tail and battle the Thunder God. Sadly, the venom of the serpent's jaws will kill Thor even as his hammer Mjolnir crushes the great wyrm's skull. Finally, Freyr, the God of the Alfar (Elves), who is destined to fight the King of the Fire Giants, Surtr, will do so with only an antler for a weapon. This is because his magic sword that was capable of fighting on its own was traded by him to Skirnir for the hand of the giantess Gerdr in marriage. This, however, doomed him to lose his fight against Surtr, who will then scatter flames across all the realms, burning them down and leaving nothing but ash. All is not lost, however, as in time, Midgard will blossom once again, and humans shall awaken to find the world green and beautiful again. The gods shall return, and all will be well.
Comics hulk and Thor have had a lot of fights. For the arena though hulk fought silver surfer depowered. Hulk and his team kind of jumped surfer who was cut off from his powers cosmic. Then hulk went to earth where Thor was not at.
Guys.. I love your journey through the MCU but seriously, you've gotta fix your audio issue. As someone who's been trained in audio for radio, there's far too much spacious ambient noise which makes your commentary echoed on top of it and makes for a poor viewing experience for your audience. If you're going to continue to record in this space, you definitely need carpet and foam against the walls and ceiling. Or.. I can just go F myself, just saying
Here are some Ragnarok facts. Norse mythology and comic book history Hela was Loki's daughter. In the MCU Hela is Thor's half-sister. Hela was the true owner of m'jolnir so she was able to destroy it. Hela Thor's mother frigga and Valkyrie are the same age. Hela was trapped in a hail dimension so she didn't age and Valkyrie spent most of her time on the planet sakaar were aging work different based on the individual that's why the grandmaster is millions of years old and a elder of the universe with his brother The collector. Also it seemed like the Hulk has been on the planet saakar for the past 2 years but in fact it's been around 8 years for him but the Hulk on the ages as Bruce. Thor defeated surtur because he was injured by Odin who needed the space Stone just to defeat surtur with the help of Hela stealing his source of power the eternal flame which cut surtur off at from his true power.
Thor's hair . . . has been a wig for quite a while. Very nice wig(s). Such a fun movie. Unexpected. Galadriel and Eomer team up! Sort of. Now Karl Urban just needs to get a role in an Aliens movie, one in a Game of Thrones spin off, James Cameron's Avatar movies and he is done. We can crown him King of the Nerds.
Thor Ragnarok was a fun movie to watch but to be honest, I was a little disappointed it wasn't a darker movie, the comic version, is one of my favorite Thor comic storylines, and it is also one of the darkest storylines I've ever read.
Pay attention to the dynamic between Bruce and the Hulk, and how the Hulk behaves in this film. Thor: Ragnarok is part one of a Three part Hulk side story. A lot of people forget there's a 3-part Hulk side story. Part 2 is in Avengers: Infinity War and the final part of the Hulk side story is in Avengers: Endgame. The prelude of the story was the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Consider how the Hulk was treated in his film(s) and his relationship with Banner and the Avengers up until now, and you'll begin to understand how the Hulk feels and part of the reason why he left in Age of Ultron. I can't say much more without spoiling things. Just think back to all the Hulk appearances in the MCU and pay attention to him and what he does and doesn't do in this film, and his actions in the remaining films will make a lot more sense.
I appreciate your reactions. But, quite frankly…this was a disappointment. First. That IS Matt Damon. Second. I agree with others…you seriously need to fire your editor. And if it’s one of you…well…quit now, lol. Third. Do you guys truly not appreciate Loki? You cut practically ALL of his scenes! This choice will not age well, trust me. Fourth…what about Jeff freakin’ Goldblum? Or Korg? Or good old fashioned HUMOR? Come on, lol. 🤷♀️ Finally. You both looked rather bored and uninterested throughout much of it…even the funniest scenes. Half asleep, even. I don’t think I’ve seen that from ANY reactors of this film! Maybe you were tired or something? I dunno. Like I said. It’s not BAD, just. Sigh…disappointing. Hope your reaction for Black Panther is better…prepare for rioting if it’s not, lol. 🙏 Just saying. That film sparked a literal cultural movement. It means a lot to a lot of people. Expectations are high.
16:50 While filming this, Chris Hemsworth was spending a lot of time with a young fan visiting the set via the Make A Wish foundation. They had filmed the intro to Thor's "opponent" a couple of times. And Chris had asked the fan if she was having a good time. The fan was having the time of her life, then suggested to Chris Hemsworth that he should say his iconic line "We know each other. He's a friend from work."
So I loved ALMOST everything about this movie. Great story, visuals, music, cast, etc. However there was one element I didn’t care for, and that’s what it did to Thor’s character. I much prefer the regal Thor with the noble bearing than the goofy version. I do understand the appeal to others, though. Chris Hemsworth has great comedic delivery.
Karl Urban has been in so many things that a well-rounded sci-fi/fantasy fan should be familiar with. Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Dredd, Doom, Riddick, Hercules/Xena. It’s an absolute delight to see him totally unhinged as Butcher, but the guy has range and has been a staple of the genre for 25+ years.
@@robfarleyliAgreed. My first introduction to him was as Julius Caesar - and even then I knew this guy's acting was definitely going to take him places. While that wasn't his first role, it was a testament to his acting chops that helped him land even bigger roles.
Yes this would be an example of a Crossover Comic. Sometimes team-ups, sometimes sparring partners, sometimes mind controlled fights with each other; the what ifs of imagination.
I like how Thor told Strange not to mess with his hair, then Stan Lee, the most powerful superhero, shreds his hair. And yea, Thor looks even more beautiful.
