It's an amazing movie, let alone zombie movie. I get tears every time at the end. The girl was hands-down the best child actress I've ever seen. She's now in her late teens and has done many, many movies. Deservedly so. The helicopters weren't dropping the infected on purpose. They were people fleeing from the zombies but the zombies grabbed on as they were flying away. Those that fell were ones who lost their grip on the helicopter they were hanging from.
