I’m so glad to see a channel use some of the least expensive coloring mediums for those of us that can not afford the more expensive stuff. Coloring should be about having fun. Good for you.

Kate does crazy awesome stuff with her supertips! I used them when I first started coloring but haven’t in a long time but I have really been thinking about investing in the 100 set of super tips to give them a try and now I think I am definitely going to even if I just use them in my color by number books! I think your variety on your channel is great so I say keep doing what you’re doing! As for your butterfly I think a pale yellow and maybe a pale orange would pretty too :) thanks for showing the scents they are so fun! Your picture came out really nice too! Thanks for showing us what we can do on a budget! Take care!

So u can color easily over them with crayola colored pencils I have a set of 50 super tips been wanting to use them, just haven't had a picture I want to use them on, I also like listening to u and watching your videos!! Thank u for doing this!!

Hi Erin, if you want more of a watercolor effect, or a lighter base for pencils, you can scribble some color onto a plastic palette or Caran de Aches plastic palette board, then use a watercolor brush or an aqua brush, just a little FYI, for you being your first time using these very versatile water markers, have fun with them! Btw, Welcome back!!

its half midnight Monday morning here in Tassie and you put this video up 2 hrs before I tuned in. I want to say while you are trying to smooth leaves, you dont need to because, you know, that leaves and growing things are not smooth and perfect. I know you know that. I love you talking videos. I've been subscribed for years, as a matter of fact, your videos along with Ann were the first ones I subscribed to. In last couple years I havnt been getting your videos, I dont understand. Hope you get this. I cant write or thumbs up on my tv so to text you i need phone.

Yay!!!!!!! I am really glad you are making videos again. I love watching you and listening to you. I use my supertips alot and I've been practicing at adding pencils for shading. And using supertips like watercolors is alot of fun.

You do you ;) Most of us will watch no matter what you post! I used to use Super Tips all the time when I first started coloring, but now mainly use pencils. The colors are awesome, though, and I agree, Kate from Kate's Colouring Haven does amazing things with Super Tips!

Girl I can't keep up with you. But I'm not complaining. I'm just getting old and slow. To be honest I've lost my coloring mojo for some time now. All these beautiful books sit untouched. Maybe watching you will help me get back to it. As for what my preferences are, I really don't have any. I am just happy to have you back. Make whatever kind of videos you want. I may not see them immediately, but I will catch up soon as I can. I'm loving these markers. My only Crayola markers are the older water based and I really don't like them. I just might have to give these a try. Have fun and stay safe. 💖💗💖

You are doing a good job. The only thing I am not a fan of are the vid where the artist spends more time chatting with individuals than showing tips and tricks on coloring. Not really interested in hearing what people are doing etc. What interest me is seeing products and techniques as what you are doing right now. One thing I would like to know is how to correct the water based markers when you go over the lines. With the alcohol markers its easy to correct small mistakes with the blender, I use the Copic blender. Anyone have a trick to correct the water based markers?

I'm a new subscriber and enjoy the variety of videos you produce. I understand that there are different strokes for different folks and that's why your channel is great. There's something for everyone and if a certain type of video doesn't float someone's boat, they can watch another one of your videos! Seems like you have been dealing with a lot and I'm hoping you know that all of your subs are supporting you no matter what. Perhaps people are just worried about change in this uncertain time. Awwww thank you! Such a sweet comment! Frankly, I make the content I like to watch, and I like a little bit of everything, so I make a little of everything. People will always complain about things they don't like, and that's fine with me. I would rather know than be in the dark. Times were rough for a while but seem to be better now. There's uncertainty for sure, but there's a lot off my proverbial plate, too.

Thanks Erin! I actually got that same box of Super Tips a month or so ago. I have been very unhappy with my medium choices on some of my color by number books. A lot of people use them in thier mosaic books. Like I have a lot of the Color Questopia books and the SunLife Drawing books. But I don't want to have to color in the lines and most markers bleed too much. But the Crayolas and other water based markers don't seem to work for me either. I don't know if I'm just unhappy with the colors or the way they feel. But you inspired me to give it another try and be more open.

Hi There, just watched this video, not sure if you've done this but with the broken red pecile I have heard if you put a pencil in the microwave for 10 secs it will melt the wax and when it cools it should be just fine .

It doesn't matter so much for smaller areas, but for larger ones, letting the marker sit on the paper too long can cause damage. I probably went faster than was really necessary, too. Maybe start with smaller spaces and graduate to larger ones as you get more familiar with them? I'm sure you'll do fine with them!

Use the Super Tips like a "wash". The first touch down should be where you want the shadows to be, or the darker areas to start.

Maybe someday, but I'm not confident enough in my skin coloring skills just yet to try and teach it, and I've never done skin in these. I kinda want to try now, though. Thank you!
