John, Jack, and Mikey are the perfect trio, because they balance each other out SO well The whole mint-green-shirt segment just reminds me of the first episode of the B2W2 Metronome Randomizer nuzlocke, where not only did John and Mikey wear matching blue shirts, but there was ALSO that clip of them drinking water in perfect unison

They specified that the challenge was to obtain a starter, legendary, and a shiny after beating Brock. Jack beat Brock and then reset his game and started with Wartortle. This counted as him getting his starter after defeating Brock.
