First towing experiences with the Base Camp 2 

Great content. I've never towed and picking up our Coachman next week so a bit bigger than your lovely little Basecamp ! I'm nervous too especially as we're going just 20 miles to a campsite straight from collecting it . Then got 100 mile journey home 2 days later!

Thanks Nick, very useful. I jackknifed our BC in a lorry park last week 🥲 some, fortunately very minor, damage to the tow bar, and lesson learned - I’ll be doing practice reversing on every site we go to now! Will watch some of those videos you mention too. I know exactly what I did wrong - oversteered, and corrected too late ….. so practice is definitely the answer!! B road towing is still my fear…… but will sort it 😊👍

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've never towed anything in my life as well... I am worried about this... Not for my future caravan but for the safety of the others... But videos like yours give me that kind of "just do it" attitude! I actually smiled when you told about that turn on the tractor patch Keep it up! :)

Very inspiring videos and a great advert for the Basecamp. What is the fabric on the bench seating, is that Basecamp specific?

Watching newbies setting up on site is an entertaining pastime. Some of the things we've seen. 😱 I always try to help if someone obviously hasn't got a clue. Best one was a couple of years ago - Mr & Mrs Newbie turned up, sited van, put legs down, got everything out of van and set up. Mrs Newbie then connected the electric hook up...........only to find that they'd pitched up 2 feet further away from the EHU point than their cable would stretch. We we're in hysterics. 🤣
