Question, why isn't power the last thing you added? Meaning, track it, see where it's weak. Work on those things then start to work on power. Not a criticism it just seems odd that you have a fast car on crap tires.
Mate upgrade your suspension and tyres. No point having a big turbo car if you can't use the power. I guarantee your times would be considerably less if you ran semi slicks, b16s/ohlins, rear sway bar and some lighter wheels.
"so good to drive this car on the limit" errrrrr maybe your limits... doesnt look like the cars limits were in danger of being tested!!! haha Looks a lot of fun though and your camera setup was good - its also just great to see people out on track again :) Enjoyed the video so thanks for that.
Look at all these haters! Bet you all have Nissan Altimas 😂😂 hey man good stuff. Looks like you enjoyed yourself and that’s all that matters. Thanks for uploading.
Maybe look into some ducting and upgrading the pads for the heating issue there? 👍 I'll be doing similar on my channel at some point and updating the calipers to larger ones etc
In my view the Achilles heel of the excellent Golf R is weight. I'm very interested to see where your development takes you next. With that amount of power I suspect that improving handling will be top priority - Verkline subframes maybe like the guy's Golf R estate at BMC.
What tyres were u on? As i know u said they’re terrible lol🤣 and ive dm’d you on insta on your personal page about track days could u reply please. Wicked vid too btw love the camera angles
What was it like keeping it in boost for track have a lot of lag or… I’m just curious because I’ll use mine for track but on a v5 didn’t know how it felt ?
@@sleepwalker31 Thank you for your reply. As long as it does not go over 150 degrees c, it should be okay. The coolant always reads 90 degres c, but that is an average as it goes up and down and this is not shown on the gauge..
@@richardsealey3626 thanks so much. Like say the temperature on the instrument cluster is what I'm going by which is the oil temperature. 150 degrees is super high, I've never been over 107 degrees, thanks again
Damn, so many haters in these comments, from people who don’t have a track car, let alone have never gone to the track lol. Ya’ll are car enthusiast scrubs…
