First track day in my GR86 @ Pacific Raceways with ProFormance Racing

You should definitely do it! I went back for a second one and wasn't pushing too hard. I'm on stock pads still. DOT 4 fluid is a must imo. Pacific raceways also runs counter clock wise, so not too many right turns 😉

It was a lot of fun! Going back to the track in the next month or two to get my solo license :)

How did it go? Do you have any mods on yours?

@@ruturaj47 I went for another one to get my solo license. I'm planning on getting a oil pressure sensor to see how the 86 is holding up before I put on any mods or start tracking it more

Yes! Would highly recommend :) It comes free with the purchase of the car, and if you have no track experience like me, you don't have to worry about the RTV and oil pressure problems which are blown out of proportion for our experience level. Also, pacific raceways is a counter clockwise track, so most of the turns are left turns 😉

Yes! I've had it for a year and it's still so fun to drive, still pushing myself to get to the car's level :)

Sorry for the late response. I would recommend flushing out the DOT3 brake fluid and flushing it with some high temp DOT4 fluid in there. That's all I did. Everything else is stock. I went back to the track in early November with the same config and 5w30 oil. Engine oil temps did not go past 235F ish. I also wasn't pushing it to the limit.

I got a cheap gopro mount from amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MUHLRES/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Would not super recommend this one since it was pretty somewhat shaky. The video that you see has *no* post processing on it. So it is the same as what came out of the gopro. I do not use video stabilization on the gopro either as it makes videos artificially smooth.
