The coffins are a great price compared to funeral homes. We love Costco. I'm in Canada. Saves us lots of money on fresh fruit, veggies, tuna, toilet paper, and paper towels.
@MsJellyBellyLove They have to be ordered online and delivered to the funeral home you are about to use. In BC, the funeral home is obligated to use the one from Costco at no extra charge. Varies by province, I guess.
It’s like an American shopping trip! That’s the normal size of the “trolleys” here. They’ve been that size since I was little, 65 years ago. The trolleys/carts in the last 20 years have gotten smaller. You are being force fed American culture. You do have to watch the prices. It may not be cost effective to buy in bulk, especially if the products spoil. Also, they move items in the store. Just because you found sugar in one spot does not mean it’ll be in the same place next time. The people that work there are very nice and helpful. They have a great return policy. So if you buy too much, take it back next time!
Costco is my happy place. It's my go to for all of our big purchases, especially because they have such an amazing warranty on purchases made with their credit card. We've bought vacations, appliances, computers, televisions, printers, etc.
I can never leave Costco with what I need. Always a few extra things and $200+ spent. A chicken bake has a creamy sauce with chicken and bacon inside! I also love Costco pizza! The menu seems to be the same as here in the US too!
Costco pizza is some of the best pizza period. And yes Costco is cheaper but only on things you use all the time and constantly top up. Like toilet paper. Cheese sticks in my kid’s lunchbox. Drinks (soda, energy drinks, etc). And the gas (petrol? Do you call it petrol or gas in Australia?) (do they have gas/petrol stations at the costcos there?) the gas is ALWAYS loads cheaper. You spend more up front but you save in the end. Like if you pay $10 for a box of 10 whatevers, you can buy a box of 20 whatevers from costco for $15. If you topped up from your local store you’d be spending $20 for the 20 whatevers.
Lol got to love costco.. but yes we always spend waaaay too much money there... Glad we live too far away to go every week ita a 880klm round trip for us lol
That sounds like living in Texas. I say Let's pop out and eat lunch at Costco, their cheese pizza is the best. My mom always says, But it is like 50 miles away one way. I say So cheese pizza.
Never been to Costco, ours is over 120 miles away, our Sam’s is only 50 miles away, we go there about once a month, they can be pretty overwhelming, love your channel, June Bug 🐞, Lewisburg, West Virginia, USA 🇺🇸
2:01 I just checked Google. Yes, Costco sells coffins but are only shipped to funeral homes or a mortuary (not your home, business or warehouse). I've actually seen a coffin as a Halloween yard decoration 😂 🎃
Costco pizza being the best pizza you've ever had tracks. It isn't the best pizza I've ever had, not even close, but I've had Costco pizza and I've had Australian pizza (the only thing we could find was Dominos, and we ) and yeah. Costco makes the best findable pizza in Australia. Glad you liked pepperoni, I don't remember being able to get that either. If you ever go to New York, get pizza there, but not from a chain, just ask a pedestrian, it'll probably be some hole in the wall named after some guy.
This was an awesome vid you ladies are fab! I personally dont like Costco although my nearest and dearest swear by it...I don't see the hype... Best line ever though...."Doomsday Prep" 😂😂😂
Thank you for the tour - as someone who has never been to Costco before, I found it both enlightening and a little bit scary. I appreciate that at least now I'm prepared if I ever get the opportunity to go.
They are amazing and exactly the same in California . After living there for two years and coming back home to Aus, we went in to one and forgot what country we were in
My mother, my 2 sons, and I used to go to Sam's Club and we each got a cart. We filled them up so full that if we weren't careful, stuff would spill out. I miss my mom.
I've never seen coffins at Costco. They don't have them at the one I go to. That was so weird. Now I know where to go coffin shopping when I die, though. So that's good, I think.
The Costco in Auckland, NZ had coffins when it 1st opened a year or 2 ago. Haven't been for a while (since my introductory free membership ran out and it was going to cost $NZ60 to renew.)
Yes I’ve seen those rings and some are ridiculously expensive , but is it me or when someone asks you where your engagement ring is from and you say Costco it just devalues it ? I know it’s a bit judgmental.
Check on the doomsday prep vibes, check on people just _thinking_ it's cheap when they actually just spend way more than they need to, check on the addictive pizza, check on the coffins and urns... You guys got the full experience! lol
It's a kind of pan with a heating element (like a can of Sterno) to keep prepared food warm, as on a buffet table at a party where guests serve themselves.
Costco is a name that is almost synonymous with soda and chicken. So caskets at Costco seem very unlikely. However, Costco Wholesale has had caskets in its inventory since it started test-marketing them in 2004. As of today, Costco sells caskets of different styles and price ranges. Presently, Costco sells the entire funeral category through its online platform. In America, the average expense for a funeral can be between $8,000 and $12,000. The burial plot, the coffin, and other cemetery services all come at an additional fee. Right after the funeral service charges, the casket or the coffin makes up a chunk of the funeral expenses. So getting a good deal on caskets at Costco sounds like a good option sometimes. But are coffins Costco good options? What is the quality of these coffins, and do they come at affordable prices? Here's everything you need to know about buying a casket at Costco.
The samples are the best part of Costco, but can also be dangerous. Because if you like the samples, you’ll end up buying them because it’s hard to resist a lot of the yummy things they sell. Their pizza is delicious, but so are their hot dogs. Their menu prices are cheap and are great serving sizes that fill you up. Great for college students or anyone that wants/needs to get the most out of their money🫶🏻
