I love the shape of the handle on the firefighting mug. What a great idea with the dangling heart and the sparkling on the back. She will love that mug. All of your work is so beautiful!
Very nice glad to see you back, If you are looking for a former for hand building mugs a large diameter pool noodle works great and cheap, Doesnt have a taper to it but makes for easy forming lol
I did a bit of research. I think this would work to calculate size to oz. First: calculate the volume of the container. (I'm using the formula for a cylinder) V = h x 3.14 x r(squared) [Volume equals height times PI (3.14) times radius (squared)] (height is height of cylinder, radius is the measurement from the center of the cylinder to the edge) to "squared" the radius multiply it by itself. (if the radius is 2 then it would be 2 x 2) Second: after you get the Volume answer multiply the answer by .55. That will convert the cubic Volume to US ounces. Try it... I might be wrong--- but I think it will work.
I am so excited to see you back!!! You have worked so hard, and I worried you might be getting burnt out. So happy you are still so positive and still so excited! Love your videos so much!
Awe! You’ve made my day! I probably was getting burnt out but not on pottery lol. I’ve got a LOt of ideas and things in the works, and I can’t wait to share them!!
I have found that I get lots of spitting with the potter’s choice glazes. I have asked Amaco why this happens but haven’t had an explanation apart from giving me their suggestion for a firing schedule. As I mostly use PC glazes I just accept it now. Glad you looked less tired in part 2 of your video 😃
Haha yeah I had time to wake up lol. And I thought it was because I didn’t let the wares dry out again after glazing, but the second load dried for 24 hours and still spit. So weird
Oh sweet Clay sister, I am so excited to see a new Vid from YOU. FB is a mess this morning, so YT is where I am hanging while I build "plates" what else is an ol'gal gonna do on a rainy day? LOL Hugs sweets! Thank you for sharing!
Looks Wonderful again! I just Googled on internet for weight tablet for the amount of clay you need for all different sizes of mugs and plates! Helps out a lot❤
Ahh that’s what I was thinking. I messaged my supplier to see if he had any. Waiting to hear back. Don’t know if I should hold off on glaze firing or go until they give out lol.
So glad you’re back! That mural took a lot of time but it will be enjoyed by soo many people. Love all of your pots and what a great idea going to a class to see how they ran it.
