The first train in service on Canada's newest light rail service in Edmonton!
The Mill Woods to Downtown train northbound departed 5 minutes early at 5:10am.
Such an exciting day as the largest infrastructure project ever in the City of Edmonton officially opens.

This is definitely a very historic moment for the city, and Mill Woods of course. 3 years of waiting patiently, seeing news, and updates, it was painful but it was worth it!

Today I took one of the first rides and I’m not even kidding with you, Don Iveson just got on near Davies and I freaked out and got myself together to ask the man for a picture. He’s such a chill guy

"unfortunately, no markings on it that tells you when this ticket was purchased". As long as you don't tap it. you can keep it for up to a year, i believe.

I honestly couldn’t believe when Best Edmonton Mall guy said it would be open today considering it’s supposed to open on November 10. Either way it’s a exciting time to be a mill woods resident. This is most definitely going to be super convenient for people trying to get downtown for work and play. Being that I live in the downtown core , I have no real reason to use it.

I’m not sure where you heard the November 10 date. I always heard November 4.
