Eeeekkk catching up with the vlogs I hope you love the calendar 🥹🥹🥹🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷 thank youuuuu ❤❤❤ oh agree with the parties, I end up hosting because it’s not as common now! I think pubs and clubs used to be rammed back in the day but I actually think it’s to do with online dating more than anything 😅😂 most people can meet someone new while snuggled in bed and swiping on the phone rather than going to a sweaty pub or club lol this is what me and my mates came up with when we realised this (although I love the dancing haha 💃) xxxx

I’m in London. It is manic. The only thing for me is the work environment- sometimes can be just 4 of us in the office. My full team is 10 x

Loved today's vlog and the real talk of how it is so hard at times adjusting to how the world seems to be now ❤ You're saying all the things that so many of us are feeling and thinking and it's nice for us all to realise we're not alone in that.. Your relatable content is what makes this channel so enjoyable to follow (adore the Disney in Detail for the Orlando content too obviously 😍). Don't change a thing xx

I don’t think you should be concerned about what you do in your vlogs. You have a great camera presence even when you’re just doing day to day things. I would love a stationary “tour” I love stationary and want to start bullet journaling but have no idea where to start or even what do do with the journal 😂

There’s definitely something ‘in the air’ at the moment regarding how you kicked off the vlog talking about not wanting to set goals. I’m totally with you on this- I definitely want to concentrate on contentment more and deliberately don’t want to put any pressure on. Just want to concentrate on doing the things I know I enjoy! Dare I say, I think that this might be an age thing as well as a zeitgeist thing. I’m a similar age to you so wondered if it might be something that we’re ditching from our 20s and 30s that hasn’t served us well!

I think it also comes from age. People have kids, demanding jobs, busy with other stuff so it’s not the same when you’re late teens early twenties when you have the freedom to go out! Also cost of living is affecting everyone, people just don’t have disposable income to spend on boozing and throwing parties now.

I wasn’t suggesting anyone should be throwing lavish parties in a cost of living crisis. I was pointing out the difference in social interaction now vs 20 years ago. People celebrating 40th and 50th birthdays and wedding anniversaries back then clearly wouldn’t have been in their teens or twenties and many would have had children. What I was saying was that people seem to socialise and interact less in person in general and that includes family gets togethers at home etc not just parties and things that cost money.

I wasn’t meaning to be defensive, I was explaining what I meant. I agree with what you say about parties and the cost of living crisis. The exclamation marks in your original post suggested you were irritated by what I’d said so I was explaining further to avoid misunderstanding. Interacting online rather than in person makes it very easy to misinterpret someone’s meaning. I’m sorry if I’ve offended you, that wasn’t my intention at all.
