This is a 1967 Corvette Stingray that is part of the 300 car barn find series. The Stingray is in another building attached to the warehouse shown in the previous episodes. We performed the first wash and detailing in 33 years! The before and after of this detailing disaster is unbelievable. The restoration detail transformed the 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray back into a show car worthy of its famous badge. In this episode of Drive and Protect, we perform an interior detailing using a shampoo machine and paint restoration using compound and polish to remove swirls and paint imperfections. If you want to see more helpful how-to videos or learn about detail training, visit www.ammonyc.com.

For those requesting that Larry speak less in his content, keep in mind, he has over 15+ years of the highest level professional detailing experience in the industry. The knowledge he shares shouldn’t be taken for granted when most professionals of this caliber wouldn’t even consider offering it for free. Everything he shares is clearly worded so even the most inexperienced novice can get the big picture of the main goal for detailing. Thank you for taking the time to produce free and in depth educational content Larry 🤛🏼

You can work out of your parents garage or even travel to the car for friends and family to see the results and get the word out and start finding more customers. As a young boy my father taught me exactly how a car should be washed, (inside and out). I spent many weekends washing his 2-door '66' Chevy Caprice, (427 Turbojet). If I could give you guys one bit of advice... my dad would not be happy with those "off-white" sidewall tires. I use to use S.O.S. brand steel wool cleaning pads, (not even sure they are still available). These pads were heavily coated with dried detergent. I would lightly moisten them enough to get a lather and then go to work. It would normally take one pad, (and a lot of elbow grease), for each tire, but keep in mind these tires hadn't sat for 30 years. The whitewalls, no matter how dirty, would gleam bright white after rinsing and wipe down. Just MHO. Great video. Brought back many memories!

I did not expect a bright shining car (161.00km or about 101,000 miles) when I bought it. It is a car with a perfect technic. Never parked in a garage before. I did follow the recommodations of the AMMO-man. Work step by step and do it slow. And yes, now the car looks - after a final treatment with "Liquid Glass" - as I want to have that vintage car. Whomever the owner of these cars is needs his own section in the automotive hall of fame. Many can say this is sad to see all these cars like this. If you are like me, I want to say thank you to this person. All I see in this video as well as the barn find video is an unprecedented preservation of history. There are so many pieces of irreplaceable history in that warehouse, I am still trying to comprehend how this exists. Obviously the owner is a man of significant wealth but more so than that he is also a car guy like all of us. Only a car guy can truly respect what lies in that warehouse. To the man that saved all these beauties... to you sir, I say bravo. To ammonyc, to you sir, simply amazing job. Thank you for providing these wonderful machines with the respect they deserve.
