Hey mate, glad to see your doing well. I know the feeling, when I started doing it full time I really lost heart on the days going and not picking much up and felt like jacking it in. But getting back in to the TV work and doing part time made me realise why I started doing it in the 1st place. Once I had that little break and figured how I could make it work alongside my TV work it felt much better. Hope you can find that middle ground, rather than posting every week I post every 2-3 weeks which takes the pressure off creating content and editing videos every week. People don’t realise but I can take a day sometimes just editing. Sometimes as well I film the content over 2/3 weeks and just put it out when I’m ready.

100% get this, it's too inconsistent; both waste & scrap, I've gone back to painting & prop maintenance work full time more or less, if I get a call and someone has got a worthwhile load of shearing and non ferrous for me, I'll go & weigh it in, but as for going out street scrapping, I rarely bother, it's just too hit and miss and one prop maintenance job can equal over 3 or 4 loads worth of dough of what you'd get on the light iron
Plenty of work in Coventry City at the minute for waste collection, the bin men are on strike, local council have set up six drop off site's across the City for dropping off waste.
Hi mate scrapping is not a passion of mine it is vocation 😀😀 I can fully understand your choices it's a very very volatile business the good weeks are brilliant the bad weeks can be very poor when you are early in your business life ,it has taken 20 years plus to get to we're I am ,good luck mate stay happy and safe Steve the scrap 👍😄😄
