The ruling in Islam to consummate is 7 days for a woman that has never been married and 3 days for one who had previously been married but these are just guidelines and not cast in stone so do you....

The ruling is if she is a virgin (hasnt been married before) there is a guideline of 7 days to consummate the marriage. 3 days if she’s been married before. However this shouldn’t be with pressure, you should both feel comfortable
