Ur supposed to twist and remove the black round plate thing from the bulb install on the headlight ,put the rubber dust shield on and then screw in the bulbs and connect the bulb.
Komeshan Chetty I installed a set on a Honda jazz that has the same style boot you firstly remove the collar and install it into the light housing and secure it with the metal clip then install the rubber boot the Centre hole of the boot will line up with the collar just pop the rubber over the outside of the lip on the collar (same way like you would on the backside of the conventional bulb)and then finally insert the led into the hole and twist slightly to lock in place then connect plug and done .... the light housing is waterproof and the led fins are exposed to the air.....hope this helps
Robbie I love these videos where you build up the EG. I’m not even really a “car guy” but I still watch every video. I love watching people start out with a pile of junk, and through hard work and love, turn it into something they love. Keep the videos coming and you will blow up.
Chase your dream buddy!! Aint no shame in merch plugging at all!! Im still super surprised that your at 37k and not 370k. Your videos are put together amazingly and ive been doing mods to my car every time you do one to the civic! Its kept me motivated and wanting to learn more about how to work on cars and how to have fun spending little money!! Good luck getting out of your 9 to 5 brother!
Another good option is Siriusledlights.com I bought some 9006 for $40, free first class shipping, got it in like 3 or 4 days i believe Have had the same brand on a jeep for over 2 years and theyre still working
LED headlights are cheaper than ever on Wish. I picked up some for like 15 bucks, shipping included. So far I'm a month in and they still work just fine.
Laughed so hard when you said those old lights are like candles lol I just got my led changed for my old civic and saw this video, got it from Amazon for around 40 bucks too!
Don't get on RU-vid much, but I find that when I am I have started watching you more and more. Really rare for for people to actually work on cheaper cars and do budget builds because "It just looks/is rice to build cheap cars with cheap part" glad to see someone who is grown up about it and giving us content we can actually put into our own cars instead of some car that cost 5k not running that a lot of average people don't have the money to throw into, you deserve to make it big my dude keep it real.
these comments always get me dude... thank you so much! Love the support!

Hey, I can see that those lights came with H4 connectors. It's better to change the original plastic connector to a cheramic one, because the plastic melts especially this age. I bought them from a local car parts shop for 500 forints (HUF) wich is like not 2 USD so it's fully budget thing and prevents fuse problems. PS.: Love this build ;)
HOW TO LOOSEN ALLEN BOLTS: get a propane torch and heat the fastener up till its almost glowing, then take an impact driver (the kind you hit with a hammer not a gun) with an allen socket on it and use that to knock it loose then just unscrew it like any other fastener
Literally subscribed for just this Civic. Hoping it doesn't turn all rice and is a bit more like a sleeper. Anyways, love the vids, please keep this Civic goin!
Just so you know 95% of led light, the 3 prong that you need to clip to the headlight. it can be twisted unscrew. step 1: unscrew the 3 prong until it can be pulled straight out. (there is 2 small notch that hold the 3 prong to the led light) step 2: put the 3 prong inside the headlight step 3: put the headlight clips holding the 3 prong on step4: put the headlight BOOT on the headlight step 5: put the LED light in the hole and align the led while twisting it clockwise or counterclock until it is secure like before. The way you do it can damage the headlight/led etc and if you drive eventually it will get loose if not secure properly. but once you do step 1 it should be easy to understand after that. hope this help everyone and I apologized for my grammar since it my 2nd language. =] happy modding!
Bought the same lights from Amazon, the plug fitting didnt fit snug so I cut them can hardwired them in. They burn out as well, I upgraded to XKglow fan cooled LED.
Someone didn't read the instructions, the tabs on the led undo. Do you use the metal clip on the plastic rind off the new light. And then the led screws in after. It's super simple
Yeah, I personally include shipping in my prices when I buy something, since some buyers use shipping as a way to make the cost look lower compared to a competitor that may cost more but have cheaper shipping. I never paid 25 dollars shipping for anything. I'd wait personally and save 25 dollars. Sometimes it takes 10 days but mostly closer to 2 weeks or a month. But I mostly use AliExpress. Sometimes, things cost more Bec the seller is a scammer. So yeah, it's hard to say what's actually quality or not. It's hard to really say. Like drugs got example, buying generic isn't less safe then buying a name brand even if u pay more than double for said drug. Some things u pay more only because the company advertising cost needs to be made up, compared to a generic that doesn't advertise or a smaller company in general.
Dude they are a 2 peice design. Twist and slide off the outer ring which fits into your headlight amd clip it into place with the little steel clips... then twist the actual bulb into the disc and plug in. I have these in my car and thats the only way they work otherwise the hight and width of the lights will be out of alignment
I did a full LED headlight change for only $70. I did the lowbeam, highbeam, fog lights, and a little strip that the headlight has under the highbeam and lowbeam.
You may want to let people know that when doing the light upgrade they should have the lights adjusted so the lights don't end up going straight into the eyes of an on coming driver.
I live in Finland and I had nighteyes in my a4 audi, and they were perfect in finnish darkness, the law wont let us to put leds to headlights, but cops never pulled me over so I'm gonna order those to my s40 volvo before the darkest season begins
I got a ticket for 115 in an 80. the area I was in was a 90 and then dropped down to 80 and I didn't slow down because I'm dumb. I challenged the ticket and got it downgraded to a "failed to acknowledge road sign" or something like that. you should challenge your ticket with the prosecutor and see what they offer you.
i bought a set of cougars leds off amazon for 45 and they work great... i do have the right headlight housing for my car though so im not blinding ppl lol..
To see total price paid on wish go to order history find item and click details(not item image, that will take you to buy that product again)it should take you to the items receipt and give full paid price
Aye bro I really fuck with you You're humble as fuck and very entertaining, thanks for the content I'm definitely gonna grab merch when I have the money, keep doing your thing brother!
Definitely dig the headlights, what lumens did you decide to get for yours? Also, If you're looking at replacing your interior lights or any exterior with LED, I recommend Diode Dynamics. Aside from the headlights, they're cheap, reliable, and ship fast. I replaced all my interior bulbs and tail lights and they can't be brighter!
I have these, they work but that's it. They have nothing when it comes to pure Philips Ultinon though. And what's going on with your reflectors? The light is scattered everywhere like lots of rays instead of a complete light mat. You might need to swap those headlight housings since that might be the reason for your poor light output.
Wow, that's a really really inspiring how hard you work to make people happy and to have a happy life with a comfortable income you work really work really hard everyday I'm stunned
I’m a new subscriber to your channel. Any exhaust kits or exhaust you recommend for a 95 Hatchback?😂 I want my car to be loud. This is my first car and I wanna build ittt
I tried cheap amazon HID's they were $35. I ended up getting some Sylvania ZXE halogens and they beat the LED's. Morale of the story. Not all Halogens are created equal
