lol i was there in the public, i was so happy for her, the girl tried the mactwist at least 50 times before achieving it, and i resent the people bashing women skaters , yes it's huge for a woman to do ths kind of sport when you know that the woman's bone structure is twice more fragile than the man's , they have 2 times more risks to be paralized if they fall bad, that linz addams is a fuckin hero

@moeloehoe Sorry, girls have been skating much longer than 6-7 years. There are a few shown even in the old Powell Videos when Tony was a kid.

@22Angst men have been skating a lot longer than 30 years. i just wanted to mention that it took a too long time for female pro skaters to come up. And the time is around 6-7 years that it took off. sure there were female skaters but almost no competitions for femals skaters in street and vert.

men skateboarding = 30 ears and plus. Girls/women skateboarding became popular just about 6-7 years or less. this is a huge achievement. and i really gratulate the First Mss Twist :). most assholes complaining about this are idiots that can't do anything on a skateboard themselves. People that are skating because of the competition and harass female skaters because they may be better do not understand this sport. theyre just butthurt about this.

All women skaters could do that and more, if they strive hard enough.

totally, and i'd like to add that except for stars like tony hawk , there's nothing special to watch a guy skate, to watch a woman skate is way more exciting, because you're aware of the risks she takes , the double effort she makes and generally there's the real challenge , it's still hard for guys but there is no doubt that they can pull it off
