The Hair Love book is in my Amazon wishlist, looks like such a good idea to promote inclusion in the classroom but also to increase the exposure to different ethnicities in the classroom. I'm from a predominantly white area so books like this are so needed xx
From a 5th grade teacher who’s classroom I spent time in, she told me that the books placed randomly on the bookshelf makes the students want to read more than organized in bins. She said something about how it looks like a library and that they can explore titles makes them read more, and find newer titles more:)
