Anyway, is is possible to build it from the fischertechnik construction kit?
As usual, there is some compromises and simplifications to be made. Especially the clutch is not even close to a clutch design in a car. Here the focus was on small built size and solid function. A fourth gear would have been nice, but we not find a possible fourth pairing. Also we simplified the solution of the reverse gear and we did not even try to properly mimic the function of the synchronizer rings.
Besides that, we hope it gives some nice impression, how a manual transmission gearbox in a car works - especially how the shifting translates into changing the gears.
