Thanks for the update! I live right next door to Puerto Rico in the virgin Islands and the seargent majors are everywhere. I just haven't had luck with them not being aggressive though. I may try some more when I setup my new 200 though

That what I’m trying to build now 10 gallon beside my bed with pair of designer clowns and hope sm rainbow bubble tips of tha 1 in my main display. So yea it b great for u to make a saltwater version of tha planted 1 really enjoyed that one by tha way.

tomato clowns have been known to be the most aggressive clownfishes in the hobby. as it did kill my other ocellaris as well. and i’ve seen it first hand. tomato sneaks from back of rock, then just runs up to it and bumps it off.

You need to keep clowns with similar species....this is common with them as they age....I'd recommend trying adding two long tentacle anemones in each back corner ....these nems stay put and won't go crawling everywhere....and you'd be offering the other two species better homes....

You folks are the experts, but perhaps these clownfish have a need to resume the symbiotic relationship with a real anemone. The anemone plays host to the clownfish. Its mysterious, yet anemones have been hosting clownfish for tons of time

Tomatoes are jerks to start with... They will never get along with Emo Nemo for long! I recently had one pass as well, and he was my favorite fish! Probably the cheapest and least fancy, but he made up for it in character. I would have to push him out of the way with the magfloat, while cleaning the glass. If I was trying to look at something up close in the tank, I would have to look around him, because he would get right in my face. He was paired with a Picasso Clown. He just followed her around wherever she went. Thanks to a lying fish store owner and a case of marine velvet... My tank is now fallow. PS. When the guy trying to make money and sell you fish says "Oh yeah, been here alone for 3 months. It's good to go." Don't believe him. Quarantine anyways!

I went through 3 clown tangs all three different sizes they are evil even when tiny they don’t care. I gave up on them.

Talking about aggression. Isn’t aggression the middle name for the clown tang? 😂
