awh poor little kitty.you are right,how did they not notice that.the cat must have been crying in pain as well as not being herself.thank God she is now ok xoxoxoxo n loves for kitty 🐱.

I sat on a big upholstery needle and it swelled up just like poor little kitty’s has. The inflammation will soon go down now. I’m sure she will have an excellent recovery
Poor baby! I can't believe that kitty got a hook in his side! One of my fur babies had been in the kitty hospital since last Thursday. He had a urinary blockage. He was fine early that morning, then as the day progressed, I noticed he wasn't himself, nut eating, drinking and he would go TO the litter boxes, but not get IN them. He was walking gingerly, and lay down every few feet. He also had vomited liquidy food. I took him to my vet's ER that evening. But Saturday, after they took the catheter out, he was straining to urinate and the ultrasound she did on him showed a lot of crystals in his bladder. She said his urine was pretty bloody when she flushed his bladder while she had him sedated. But it meant he spent another two nights. :( He was feeling better last night, so I'm hoping he urinated through the night, since they pulled his catheter yesterday evening, so he can come home today! I'm SO grateful to you hard working vets!
I'm picturing young children playing with her unsupervised. Sadly, some parents buy kittens for little children & don't bother to monitor how the kid treats the pet.
Hi. I make jewelry and there is a wire cutter that is used for memory wire and is made to go thru heavy wire. You may want to give it a try it is much better then the standard wire cutters and gets closer to the skin. Just a thought.
I agree linesman pliers are a bit much for this and super awkward looking. The flat head pliers would work so much better! You can even pick them up at habor freight
They are actually different from plyers. Then are more like the toe nail clippers that podiatrist use to cut seniors toe nails only these are made to go thru stainless steal and other wires. Google on Amazon for Memory wire cutters in the "Jewelry and Craft" and you can see what they are like, it is like cutting thru butter, they are so good. Easy to sterilize also.
When looking online for them they need to put in "pliers" instead of "plyers". Good idea to have a pair on hand for when not only a pet but a child or adult might have need for them.
Well of course it's going to be a young kitten, since it couldn't be an old kitten. Just pointing out it would of made sense to write 'That poor little kitten' since Kitten means (young cat) so there use to write young in that sentence. Sorry I have a tendency to correct stupid little things like that in a smart arse way. My bad.
