Fish ponds help maintain biodiversity in the Žďárské vrchy protected area

The revitalization of two ponds adjacent to the town of Krucemburk in the Vysočina region restored an ecologically significant landscape unit. The project, supported by EU funds, helped to strengthen the accumulation and retention capabilities of the existing ponds. It also strengthened biodiversity and the landscape-forming role of water bodies located in the Žďárské vrchy protected landscape area.
