Hi Bob I enjoyed the vid and great IH find! I found my first one a 1905 last weekend in my parents front yard. Your videos have helped shrink the learning gap on my F22...thanks.
Jonathan Thiede Hi Jonathan, that's great news about finding the IH cent! I think hunting the older homesites is one of the best places to hunt. I'm going to try to do more of that this year! Thanks for watching and commenting. Glad the videos were helpful, I enjoy detecting and learning things from everyone. GL&HH!
@@bjsexpress if I was u I would get the simplex or equinox metal detectors. If I would have known about them That's what would have got first. The fisher is a great machine but the equinox goes deeper and does so much more trust me.
Hey Bob i missed this video somehow, cool Indian head penny! I'm still waiting to join the 1800s club, like you said you can search an area a lot and go back one day and find an old coin. You never know! Thanks for sharing.
James Jones Hey! I've found a few 1800s cents and nickels but no 1800s silver! My oldest silver has been a 1908 Barber dime, in my own front yard! We just have to keep hunting! Thanks for watching.
muddyboots1764 I totally agree. I'm not sure why I didn't have gloves on that day, I must have left them in my other pack. Always a good idea to wear gloves. Thanks for watching. GL&HH!
Great Find I found an 1899 as well early spring with my f22 same green color. kick myself for hitting it though. Found my first V and Barber this weekend the 1903 V was a 35 and the 1892 barber was a 73 on the vdi. same as clad. Nice videos!
Travis Mitchell Thank you! Sounds like you're having a great detecting year! Great finds! Spring and fall are my favorite times to detect, good to just be outside. Thanks for watching!
CALIFORNIA GREENHORN FISHERMEN Hello! Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really enjoy using this detector. It detects gold jewelry just fine but the 7.69 kHz frequency is better suited for higher conductive targets. The higher the frequency the more sensitive it is to gold. Thanks again!
Joe Ninety Hey! Usually a larger, shallow target will cause a target ID machine to "overload". Doesn't hurt the detector it's part of the circuitry ID. Some detectors will read lift coil trying to Identify the target. Needs a certain amount of space between the coil and the target. Thanks for watching!
