Thanks Billy, yeah it was stunning in there although the heat was intense at times.Made for a hard day.Met a few folk who were doing the full round from the bothy and finding it hard with a lack of water up there.😃👍
Another great vid Andy, I did them as a round many years ago, camped at the foot of An Teallach, brought back some good memories. Good to see you back in the groove and keep em coming. Richard.
Hi Richard glad u enjoyed it.I'm not much of a camper so decided to split the Fisherfields up into 2 bike/hikes adventures.Really enjoyed this route and already planning to go in from Poolewe for the other 2 now.😃👍🚴♂️🏃♂️
You got the weather for them Andy great to see the views , as the weather up there is unpredictable looking forward to getting back up to attempt them you have given me another option to approach them aswell. ATB Ally 👍
Thanks Ally.Always been my plan to split the Fisherfield Munros into 2 bike/hike visits.I'm not a camper so the whole Sheneval thing has never appealed to me.Just waiting for decent weather to go up for A' Mhaigdean and Ruadh Stac Mor.😉👍🚴♂️🏃♂️
Brilliant Andy👍, what an achievement👏👏 the views you got up there were sublime. A hard shift tho mate. How did your foot hold up? That’s defo the way I’m gonna do them, 2 shifts. Still swithering about cycling in then camping at lochan Fada or just cycling in and do them in a oner like you did. Cracking wee tune to go with it and some cracking photos.👍 can see why it’s called the tennis court now as your footage showed on the last munro.👍 These munros are murder in this heat eh.? ATB Frank👍🏔☀️
Thanks Frank foot been good, just take my time in any descent now.Yeah hard shifts in this weather up mountains. The "have I got enuff water" scenario always runs through my head, lol.🥵Thought I would see tents at Lochan Fada but not one.Another 2 bike/hikers like myself on this route.U need good brakes coming back out Frank. It's pretty fast.
When I did this a few years ago, like you, I had a bone dry day and finding water especially for the dog was very hard. Got burnt but had some fine views. Long hot day as I walked in without a bike!
Yeah Kevin, really dry.I found a water source in the ravine at 550 metres on the way up..Thankfully I filled up there as that was the last of it as the rest of the ravine and the 3 mountains were bone dry.A lonig day for walking it.Well done you.😃👏👏
Fantastic Andy! That's a long day. How long? How Far? I think that's how I will tackle these when I get to them. What a cracking day you got but I bet it was hard work in that heat! Brilliant again mate! Thanks for that. Paul
Long hard day in that heat Paul.Had to do Mullach Coire..... twice which didn't help, lol.🤣Took me just over 13 hrs to do with lots of breaks to cool down.Mind i'm slow on descents now cos of my foot.U need a good set of brakes on ur bike for the way out as it's fast...maybe a bit too fast on loose gravel at times.😱🚴♂️🏃♂️
