Glad to have you back. Thought it was stupid how you got targeted while Blacktiph, Deer Meat for Dinner, Ryan Meyers, Back 2 Basics and even Piris Tiki Tour are left alone!? Know YBS had a little trouble a while ago... must be a WA thing - RU-vid is jealous because it's so freaking awesome here!
Fantastic you're still here, can't understand youtube, you're a great fisherman respecting the fish you catch with no cruelty. Would be great to see an overnight camp in the cave.
Gido, I'm so lad to see that you're back with new adventures. What you do is pretty wonderful. I'd be happy to see you return to a site like this cave. You could try to hook into something that challenged you and your gear. The water looks terrific. I don't mind your Aussie accent. After a couple years of watching and careful listening I think I'm able to understand most of what you go on about. I think your stamina is amazing. After driving, hiking, abseiling, fishing, hauling up yourself and your gear, and hiking out you've still some good number of miles to go to find your bed again. What a day! I thank you for your efforts. Carry on and stay safe. Cheers!
Seeing you back and doing what you love doing, made my morning. RU-vid, leave him alone, he's one of the most talented, unique, uncontroversial fisherman I have ever come across. It's amazing the talent he has with those lures.
Welcome back. So glad to see you monetized again I watched all the ads. Would love to see you camp in the cave if the gear isn’t to heavy to haul out…lol. My fiancé loves to eat er fish barbecued like that on the live coals - I prefer filets with no bones. Great video!
Don't see how he can have trouble with RU-vid. His videos are pretty legit. Doesn't discuss branding too much. He does eat the fish he kills, kids need to understand this is part of life and you can't punish the guy for eating cause meat doesn't grow in fillet form in a bag. It's good to see he wears a life jacket.
Your passion and dedication to the sport has no boundaries.. Welcome back and cheers for showing just how much effort you put in to catching your fish.. See you on the next one🎣🎣🇦🇺
The section where you cut from the climb to the fire on the beach is an awesome piece of editing. It did my head in the envy hit me so hard... You are an extremely fortunate man Gido. Your vids are bleeding amazing. There's not a man on the planet that does what you do to get a bag of scales...👍
I found your channel yesterday. I am so thoroughly impressed. I had the opportunity to visit Australia from the US in July. I was already excited to go back but your videos have me wanting to be there right now! Cheers. Keep up the awesome content and thank you for letting me live vicariously through your adventures.
G'day Gido, it is great to have you back, i hope all is well with you and i, like all your other fans look forward to following your adventures and learning from your experiences. Take care for now, Gordon.
Soooo glad you're back mate. We are, I'm proud of you...like I'm part of you and your family which I've seen in your previous vids (we are all trying to make a living to provide for our family). You have no idea how your vids soothe me... you are a true bleu oz to us, down to earth bloke.
I am a 72 yr old woman ,fished a lot of deep sea fishing in the gulf of Alabama and Fl. My husband passed away so I cant fish anymore.I love your shows it is like I am fishing again.Love it when you camp and cook, been watching all your shows, after this one where it is so difficult to pull yourself up and over the cliffs you must be terrible exhausted. How far do you have to drive from home to get to your fishing spots.Does your wife ever come along? Stay safe and keep fishing.By the way that striped fish you caught and didnkt know if you could eat it ,it is called a sheepshead here and they are good to eat.
I’m so glad to see you again. We don’t have any fish that you catch in Minnesota. But what a job you do climbing with all the gear. I truly enjoy seeing you catch fish in some amazing place’s. Thanks again keep fishing. Stay safe. Dave.
One of my fav fishing channel beside Taku from Outdoor Chef Life. Fishing from spots that other will skip, since it took lots of efforts just to rappel down the cliff, let alone camping. Love your content mate, keep it up!
Yo Buddy!!! Welcome Back!!! I have missed watching your videos! Have always loved your content! You have such a unique niche that you capture with your videos - so excited to see more of your videos going forward!
Definitely ought to go camping out in the cave - but only if there’s good fishing to be had too. Welcome back to RU-vid Gido! Footnote: watched the rest of the video, and based on your success, hopefully a second visit to Cliff Cave will be coming up sometime. Beautiful spot and nice little haul of fish too 🙌
The adventure fisherman is back, so glad that GIDO is back on You Tube. Great stuff on this channel, thanks again for your videos. Stay safe and good fishing. 👍🎥🦾🎬
Glad to hear you're back brother! You're a Absolute treasure on RU-vid!!! There needs to be another platform for people like you. So you don't have to be afraid of losing your income!
Probably the happiest and freest man alive on this planet in the midst of these crazy lockdowns! So envy ya matey! Cheers from a city slicker angler in Sydney NSW. Subscribed!
GIDO, haven’t found any one in Southern California who does what You do Man. Great Love for Fishing to do what you do, and be a family man.” You the Man”!
Glad to hear you got your monetization situation sorted out. Given that there's actually a overhang there, you have to wonder how it was formed, and the obvious answer is that the tide used to be up that high. That triple-swivel setup is the same setup I used fishing the Gulf Coast surf here in Texas. Definitely a nice bit of setup, and if you're losing tackle with it, it's either the hook or the sinker. You'd only lose both if you're unlucky.
yay back to the rock fishing style that brought me to your channel in the first place... you are the legend cliff fisherman!! The boat and island stuff is cool but it's your cliff fishing that blows my mind.
Mate, what a stunning spot to fish, shelter too, would be keen to watch a camping vid from there and you can’t beat harlequin and black arse for a feed, mine and my family’s favourite fish to eat 👍🎣
Good to have ya back man. I was rattled when they demonetized you out of all the fishing youtubers. Your always tasteful and inoffensive. Not like those “whack em and stack em” Florida blokes bagging 30 fish in a session
Welcome back mate , awesome video. I just cannot understand RU-vid with their sometimes twisted thought . Glad you're back , you respect your fish , environment and you fish in a very sustainable manner , always . To set up a tent in the cave on that ledge would be an awesome mission , take care , beware the weather and continued success with your fishing and videos . Best regards for you and family . Take care , stay safe . Cheers from the goldfields.
I think this video really showed just what an effort this type of fishing can be. I'm sure you were wishing you were back in the Hobie lol of course its all worth it in the end as you provide quality content for us viewers. Suoer happy the RU-vid issue resolved itself. Yewwwww👍🙏❤🐟
Saying hello from Sydney. Love to see the western australia waters. I may have to learn how to abseiling to catch a big fish :) Happy New Year and hoping to see more bigger fish in new year
Mate anyone who goes to that length to go fishing and catch some dinner deserves at least my sub. Thats fishing I'll never do and I never knew there was any type of fishing I wouldn't or couldn't do. Amazing stuff man, brilliant
Man I'm glad you are back on!!! I really dig the videos Im over in Texas but I like seeing how y'all do it over there. Keep the videos coming and again congrats on getting back up and running
Loving the content mate! Would like to see you maybe chuck a couple live baits out there on the heavy rod and see what grabs it. Those herring were ideal!
Cave man Gido. The scary as fisherman. Glad it was resolved. RU-vid occasionally defies logic and gets it wrong. Good to see you back and sharing your adventures.
