Day 2 of a camp out fishing trip. Hike away from camp and fish some deeper water where I catch tuna, breaksea cod and a blue groper.
Where am I ? This is the south coast of Western Austrlia
The braid I use on all my reels is tasline: www.bustedfish...
Some details on the fishing gear used
Light spinning reel : Shimano Stradic 4000CI4+FB with custom handle and 15lb tasline
Light tackle rod : Shimano Barra Spin 653
Heavy Outfit
Rod: JC Customs/ CTS GT Fight blank pe 6-8
Reel: Shimano Stella 20000
Line: 80 lb Tasline and 140lb Varivas Leader

Miss cliff fishing. When I was doing the crazy, the only climbing gear I bought were rope and Carabiners. Everything else was made by me, and if I couldn't make it, I didn't need it. LOL. I would make climbing shoes out of tennis shoes and inner tubes. They would last about 3 or 4 climbs. (ish). Tight lines youngen. Stay safe.

I remember around 2 years ago out in the boat at around 100m of depth i got a pb breaksea cod that was 58cm long, really great eating fish.

It's pretty amazing hey, white lines through the black, black sections next to the light grey and the different shapes they all make. I love exploring and just seeing the scenery and rocks

@@gidosfishingadventures good times splorin'....you've fished spots that will never see any other anglers again...this place is on my map for the round trip for sure from Albany to Esperance ...does the wind give boats much oppurtunity to fish in close there?..I hear it can be windy as F down there.

I live down in albany and you cant really get your boat down near the rocks since the swell will push you in, and the anchors dont really do much

always a nice feeling to have a spot all to yourself and no one else interfering. u use braid for ur sliderbait? i found so much issues using braid and slider that i had to switch to heavy mono to prevent waste of time. pretty sick that u get to catch tuna off the rocks

Gido, From 8.26 onwards, at the hill foot.. look at the natural drawing of the sea waves. There's something like a lizard and a dinosaur. Take a closer look.

Firstly, I got to say that I LOVE your videos and that you inspire me to go on more adventures! Secondly, when you cast the big baitcaster, put your thumb on the side, the metal spool burns your finger slower than mono or braid does.

Nailed it Gido. A nice bit of brightness in an otherwise dull, C19 life. Thanks mate. Just a little concerned though. Do you often wear shorts? My dad was once struck by a tiger snake while walking through that coastal heath. Nearly killed him but he was a tough old devil and survived. Be very careful and wear some light trousers, at least until you get to your spot, or back to the vehicle. These excellent vids simply MUST continue!

I live in the USA and im grateful, but that's awesome 😅im wandering how far you have to travel to get from home to that spot, i think my freezer would be full ov fish all the time.(I stored fish frozen in a bag with water and some garlic for over a year) When i finally got it out it was great😅
