Just as others have mentioned, it does need a dab of oil before you use it ru-vid.comUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e - put a few drops in through the convenient screw cap and you are good to go! I have fished several weeks with a couple of these, and I will be getting more in the future. I put these against my Abu Garcia Pro Max reel, and they actually perform a bit better than the Abu with some of my lighter cranks, and definitely just as good with the rest of my lures. My Abu is a bit more low profile and fits my hand better, but these are definitely not bad at all. You can almost get 3 of these for the price of my Pro Max. My only complaint is the thumb bar sits pretty high compared to my traditional profile Abu. Bring that thumb bar down a little and I’m sold on these all day long.
Paying attention to the water is so key! Just starting out I never would've guessed that picking up boils & slight movement in water could land really good bass
Well brother I'm 51 and been bass fishing since I was 10 , needless to say after 41 years of bassin I was pretty set in my ways , big worms, Texas rig worms, lizards , this is where you come in , I watched you throwing a chatterdonk with a craw trailer specifically black and blue and white with a simple shad color trailer and my catches have been crazy, the Donk is my favorite moving bait to throw. Thank you for all the great tips and tricks. I'm a loyal subscriber and really enjoy the content, would love to see you on the B.A.S.S. tour soon. Keep kicking the bass brother .
Family of fishermen cool. You guys can all enjoy fishing trips together 😊

You are a very successful big fisherman, Congratulations! This pond is amazing and has a lot of big fish. Here where I fish in Brazil there are good fish for fishing.👍🎣😊 hug!!
You , Norm Yak LoJo and the gang Got me back into fishing after too many years off! Got my order in for the KTBTV Baitcasting Combo in. Wonder If Lews' will throw in any extras? Maybe a Shirt or Sunglasses. Thanks for the entertainment keep up the awesome work.
Thank you for this having no luck with chatterbait still new with it was using the rage swimmers and nothing I'll go ahead and try to flukes and I watched how you retrieved it
Do all golf courses have private property signs? I’m just wondering because all the ones around me do but I want to fish the little ponds on them so freaking bad
How is your cast so smooth? Like how are you getting such good distance? Every time I try to flick it hard out I get a killer birds nest. Short casts I’m fine. Would type of line have anything to do with it.
Great videos always brother thank you I had one this afternoon in the lily pads on a black frog that had to have been two to three pounds it came off though I was fishing The far side of lily pads and he or she hit it on the far side and then went straight down into the pads and came off in the pads
@@onami1528 they usually slam chatterbaits so you either feel the thump or they will knock slack in your line so if all of a sudden you can't feel it anymore set the hook
@@onami1528 when I got hit it really slammed the bait so it was obvious I had a bite, I also use polarized glasses and I watched the fish hit it. The coolest thing ever
Maybe you can answer this question just started fishing and the right-hand and left-hand reel seem to confuse me just a tad most right-handed people have the reel handle on the right side seems wrong to me gearing system is built for your weekend that's why it's a 7:21 right the way I look at it, you should be using your dominant hand to fight the fish would you use your weekend on the hammer and hold the nail with your dominant hand
Super old video but, I’m one of those guys, I get about 1-1.5 hours before work to fish, at about 8:3-9 in the morning, perfect time. I move up and down the banks like you said and catch the most fish that way
Bro I live in south ga about 3 hours from Savannah, the weather down here has been weird and the fish have been also. At the beginning of August I was slaying them everytime I went fishing especially with a frog, but lately the bite has just been really slow.
He was using a fluke style trailer this time. Most people use trailers on chatterbaits but you don’t have to. I always use a trailer on them though. I like small paddletail swimbaits, craw style, and fluke style trailers for chatters. Works great for me!
I know you will never see this but hey why not . I have a young channel on here and any advice would be great. You are one of the people that pushed me to try it out. Love your channel and am so happy for you with the new combo . Not a big fan of lews but I might grab a new one of yours . Anyway be cool
