Thank you for the great intro and quick explanation. For those that have lost brothers and sisters (especially in combat), a lot of people don't realize that Memorial Day isn't the day you go thanking someone for their service. That is what Veteran's Day is for, if someone feels the need to be thankful. As you stated, Memorial Day is a day to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. That said, it also irritates me when Veterans just go off on people for not knowing the difference (suck it up, say thank you, and move along, or politely say thank you and educate them about it). Anyways, enough rambling from me, thanks for another great video!

Hey Bama, I was just in Panama City Beach for vacation and convinced my parents to go saltwater fishing. This was my first time fishing in saltwater and caught over 20 fish and a 30 pound Red Snapper. Thank you for inspiring me to try and fish in the gulf. Keep up the great work. ❤

I just did the same thing in Panama City Beach. My first time as well. Only booked a 4 hour trip, but um definitely hooked. Getting a boat set up so I can go closer to home

great stuff as usual...ty....I read an article about the mahi that said same as you...the other fish will follow the hooked fish, and if someone's w/ you, don't land the fish and let the other cast behind it and hook up, and it's like a revolving door...u land yours, he keeps his in until u hook up again...seems to be true. Hope to someday experience it.

I never respected our veterans until my brother joined immediately after he turned 18. I was terrified when he was shipped overseas. Now I have nothing but respect and love for them. Those who have since passed, and those still living. Everybody have fun this weekend !

To me Dolphin, Mahi Mahi are the best tasting, best fighting on lighter tackle fish in the Gulf. You can’t go wrong catching them.

The little mahi reminded me of yellow perch here in Pa if they bleed you may as well keep them there gonna die😢I'm told that Mahi are not characteristically large in the gulf but more elsewhere,it like fishing in a bathtub but at least there tasty

Fun facts about Mahi. They grow 2.7" a week. They reach sexual maturity at 5-6 months. They did an experiment with one in the keys, was in captivity. It grew from 5-6lbs, to 56lbs 9 months later. Yes it was fed a lot, but that is really incredible.

That’s awesome. Wish they came that close to me! I remember the first fishing down in the Keys as a kid from Texas, the first time we read into a large group of schoolies (as we called them) it was a blast! Not to mention the big ball of colors swirling around and basically eating practically a bare hook if someone else was hooked up! What a blast and a great memory!

Yup this kid did Kept 8 of them! There are zero size limits on them here in Alabama and the northern Gulf and definitely no shortages of them here either.The fish would not survive after bleeding out that long and they fed a couple of friends and family.

I’m planning to come to orange beach Alabama at the beginning of July, our airbnb had a personal dock in the bay and I’m planning to do a lot of fishing, do I need a saltwater fishing license?
