The fishing is amazing as always but can we appreciate the support and excitement from the wife and kids! It’s rare to find someone who is genuinely supportive of your passions and super cool to see 🤙🏻
That’s for sure !!! I understand that most woman will do anything to make you happy while with her or make you feel they way she does. And not support you at what makes you happy without her. So sadly. Family support is most important to me.
couldn't agree more mate, for me to think of her as the first person I want to call and share that moment with is the best feeling ever knowing how excited and supportive shell be for me.
Matt that was incredible. No rough water, no sharks, no wind, just flat out action! I don't know why some have an objection to Live Scope. I feel it's just jealousy. The technology is there to help us find the fish. The rest is up to us. Does that mean we should go back to using canoes with hand lines or just fish from shore to bait a wait? It makes no sense. Even finding them doesn't mean they will bite. Silly. Cherish the day!
@@PelagicPursuit89I feel it’s kinda chesty but if I had a live scope I would be using always and it definitely takes skill to fight these fish and catch them especially on lures and to fool them aswell is a art form
I definitely know what it's like having that strange feeling fishing alone. A feeling so high but also oddly low because you didn't get to share it with someone else. Keep up the good work Matty. You deserve every minute of it!
Yeah cracked my pb bream solo and didn’t have anyway to take a photo biggest one I have ever seen photos included it measured 45cm and all I have to show is my memory
FREAKEN WOW. One over a metre is epic, That is just insane. Congrats mate. some of the the best footage of the takes. The one lobbed on the pylon and hopped off was just so cool. wow wow wow. All the guys at work will be talking about this video around the smoko table tomorrow for sure.
It would be awesome if you could do some screen recording from your livescope to share with us. It seems an essential part of this kind fishing and very exiting to look at. Awesome vid!
unfortunately with live scope being new and people saying its easy id rather not show the screen and show what I do because it'll be giving too much away and id rather people learn for them selves and appreciate its not as easy as people say
@@PelagicPursuit89 from a tech guru, lemme give you a lil advice if i may... share what you know early, people will thus be more willing to share with you and you grow MUCH faster... keeping secrets only keeps bad habits... Cheers and tight lines brother 🤙
Words don’t do this one justice, Matt… Absolutely incredible and thanks for highlighting your endless hours of prep So good to see your hands still shaking after landing the third 125+ Congratulations - just epic!!! Thanks for sharing with us!
Absolutely incredible video. You did your research, you made a plan, and you executed it. And it payed off greatly. Great job my friend. Cheers from America bro.
Mat, I think I was there with you fishing with the adrenaline pumping... what a fish ! It is certainly one of the best styles of fishing and you conquered it👍🏻 congratulations on: a quality catch.
Not Clickbait, well done! absolute stonker of a Barra, I watched all the Malcolm Douglas stuff as a kid and cannot remember him ever catching one that big.
well done mate. both vids r very cool. the best part bout both sessions is u held them over as long as possible to help the locals. thats respect n understanding the situation. most wud have uploaded without even thinking bout wat the outcome cud/wud be. thats wat i like most bout ur content n the way u go bout it Matty. well done on the steady release as well.
Yes good at fishing but despite not being a typical influencer RU-vid character who goes viral because of his ability to make videos which are by the book viral material, you pursue your passion and share that passion and skill and knowledge and instinct with the world. The growth is slower but you are m and adding more pure fishing value than any other channel I have seen. Keep going and keep teaching. We appreciate you!
SOLID...subscribed from Florida USA, we fish for Speckled Seatrout.... nothing that size. Barramundi remind me of the Panther Fish Grouper that I have had in my aquarium. Solid Predator. Congrats on the EPIC Day for yourself!!!
Use to live there before the netting change how things have changed. The fish were there but not in the numbers of big fish great vid as usual love your work.
Mate, holy shit that was a epic video, just sitting here watching you and knowing those exact feelings that's going on is something else that only true fishos who put time and effort in understand. Amazing video mate, what a bloody rippa 🤙🤙💜👌🇦🇺💪🤜🤛🎣
Absolutely incredible Matty! Inspiring stuff. No words when those giants are being cuddled up the front of ya boat! What the hell did I just watch hahaha.
Just got live fitted last week and this makes me so keen to hit the river too. Just moved here aswell. Epic footage mate and there’s always gonna be haters, don’t see them posting vids of countless 130 bazzas either 😂
Epic vid, that one fish that broke off next to the boat could have been saved if you free spooled and keep thumb pressure and let it get away from the boat. I know it easier said than done.
I'd be pinching myself it's definitely something you won't forget, it's great seeing the old girls swim off such power . What sounder and live are you running
Unreal. It goes to show you what happens when you take the nets away. Look what happened in the Daly when they did it. Turned into a fishing Mecca too. Great to see.
@@PelagicPursuit89 Hey Matty I'm looking to do a RU-vid celeb charter on my charter boat inviting about a dozen fishing Gurus towards the end of the year. Going Swains or wider to Saumerez on Mikat. Look me up and let me know if interested Mate.
Could hear the emotion in your voice and fair enough too man. Love to see a big dog like that swim off too. You've cracked it. Keep up the good work, avid follower. Can someone share what his knot is to the lure?
This episode was named “crack the spot”. Insane stuff. Between few options (G or barra) I always choose the right answer… Direct fighting, no excuses, badass fish 🐠
Awesome first fish. Caught my first Barra under that bridge. 22years ago. Technically has come along way since then. Would love to see a GoPro recording the live scope in the corner during the takes.
