Foggy morning. Tried Otter Pond for the first time. Another wonderful place in South Jersey. Ended up catching a variety of fish and had 21 Spots. Crabbing was not as good and we only had 6 keepers. Fish dinner for the next few days! Enjoy the video🥰!!!

@@slingshotcrabbing Yes😊There were a lot of Spots and other varieties of fish in this creek. We were always getting bites. Crabs weren’t biting as much. No more greenheads too😊. Good luck on your trip🦀🐟!

Beautiful day, I miss that Jersey morning foggy wetlands, then you go ahead and fried up those croakers almost brought me to tears, mom used to fry them up after I came back from the inlet, served with warm rice and fresh steam crabs too. During hide tide, thsoe snappers come in and easy to catch with 1/2 oz cast masters, those are tasty too pan fried. Grilled eels are delicious too, I hope you get a chance to get one. A live killie on the bottom is what catch them. Thanks for showing us your day, reminds me of my days there.

Crabbing has really slowed down. Crabbed at Lavallette yesterday. Only caught 6 keepers. Four “big boys”. And two smaller keepers.

The opening scenes of your video were beautiful. South Jersey chamber of commerce should hire you to make promotional videos! Can you tell me where Otter Pond is located? I know SJ pretty well, but have never heard of Otter Pond.

@@supharakchuatanapinyo9679 That fish is called a Spot fish. It doesn’t grow too big and this year we tried frying it and it’s delicious!

@@supharakchuatanapinyo9679 There’s no size limit 😊 no bag limit too, some people keep the smaller ones for bait, the bigger ones however are good to eat. 😊

@@wayned5872 Yes😊! We read that around this time, Absecon and Mullica river has lots of spots and croakers. Some local bait shops have recommended that too, we’ll probably try it one day.

@thandastones888 the mullica gets loaded with spot/ croaker check around chestnut neck area crabs should be there also, I think crabbing is gona be so-so this weekend coming with this predicted tropical depression off of the Carolinas moving north

@@hnczgychen3109 This place us actually public and those picnic tables are for Public use. However when the restaurant beside it opens around 12:00 pm, customers dock their boats there too. Directions, message us on instagram.
