I finally got a chance to go fishing with my daughter Isa and her boyfriend Noah, in Texas. I had such a great time. I can't wait until the next time we fish together.
Watching this video reminds me how long its been since I've been on Belton Lake....over ten years!! I also taught my boys on how important it is to keep your fishing area clean and to pick up after yourself before leaving, great habit to have and teach the younger generation.

Didn't get big one but it's a fish that's always good no skunk that day. Glad y'all got to see your daughter my left home year ago almost was tuff but then I took it well had heart attack. Lol. But I pray for her daily. I did get call from her today was shocked really. Her boyfriend even offered to help me out around the hosue since I've been sick and stuck in bed for weeks. Even thought I don't like him much. Help is help when your disabeld. But I'm glad y'all had fun and does look like a nice place to fish maybe next time y'all get some big fish. Oh wow about that message in the bottle...Me and My friend were fishing leona park boat ramp last weeknd....I found the bottle that morning its a peach blend vodka...Jokingly I asked my bro If he wanted a drink...He said hell no...we laughed ...I placed the bottle on the rock next to the boat ramp....A few hours later when we were loading the boat to leave 2 girls had the bottle...One was singing with a small Ukuleles type guitar...The other girl was writing down the words im guessing....I didnt pay much more attention was strapping boat down and we left ....As soon as I seen the bottle Isa had in her hand and the 36 highway bridge in the background I knew this was the bottle I encounterd that morning and the two girls must have made the note
You three should come to Boise, Idaho sometime and catch some channel catfish with me. There's a pond that I go to a lot called Parkcenter Pond. I've caught some nice sized channel catfish out of there. Even caught a 6 foot sturgeon.
Your fishing in my backyard, Belton is a long lake with flats, deep water, river and creeks. Sometimes it takes a while to locate the fish but they are there. Sorry it wasn't more productive, but still a great day out.
That's the lake I fish. It looks like you were fishing off the hwy 36 bridge. The biggest catfish I've caught in that lake is just 22 lbs so I'm not surprised you didn't catch anything big.
Man you really should have let me know you were coming I could have put you on some blues and hybrids. Maybe next time. If I can I will post pics of what I catch on your page to prove I'm not full of beans.

Hint for all young men and women The ring comes first and then marriage but if they want to get married now Kris is the captain and I think it would be cool to have the marriage couple jump off the back of the boat as Kris yells you can now kiss the bride ....
