I love fishing and yet to catch my first fish in Cape Town. How safe is it at Broken Roads. I have no company and normally fish alone on Blouberg ...Table Bay side. It's dead dead that side.
Table bay in my experience has never been great grounds but very safe to fish. I have seen good fish come out that side but not often. Broken road is safe as long as you have other fishermen there as well. Don't be an easy target ie stand alone in the dark etc. It's a very popular spot to fish that produces a large variety of species. Weekend are often full of fishermen so you should be good to go.
