Another 24 hour session this time at Cleabarrow, however some very surprising footage on this one and a great result as well another magical tarn to fish in the lake district just a stone throw from lake Windermere.
Cheers Ken Im getting used to the one night rule on this waters now and making the most of it, yes was really pleased with that fish...as you could tell LOL
Hi AJay cheers buddy hope you liked your moment on RU-vid, you can see now how it panned out and what I was up to when you were catching all the fish LOL👍👍 Maff
Cheers John yes this is a great little tarn when the weather is on your side, so glad i got that fish out after the feeding that went on the day before in the other swim. I did enjoy finally outwitting the fish LOL 😂
Another great vid mate lovely blank saver at the end also really interesting and good to see how much them fish churning up the bottom like that . Some lovely looking little lakes u have been on lately 👌👌👍
Hi Kirk these lakes / Tarns are amazing and i still have one in this club to fish yet , may save that one for next year. Every time I threw boilies in that area it was like ringing the dinner bell I could not believe it when my rods did not rip off, especially as I matched my hook bait with the same boilie, but that's fishing for you I guess, they outwitted me that day LOL 😂
It can be a boggy misty damp place with its own weather system at times but I got lucky on this one, yeh these aren't big waters but awesome places to fish Chris 👍
Another great video Maff. Love your humour, love you enthusiasm and love your respect for whatever you catch. Next time you have them churning up the bottom try a treeline worm or bit of bread
Thank Chris, i still have the same excitement catching fish now as I did as a young lad. thanks for the heads up and tips, im now looking up treeline worm, 👍👍
@@MaffTUK hi, maff sorry to go off topic, do you have a recommendation for a first wild camp in the lake lake district? something moderate but plenty of views still? thanks. 👍
@@chrisfisher2568 Chris Yes i do, this is one of those places that calls me back over and over again. There is a perfect wild camp spot 350m North East from Hard knott fort it is amazing with views over to Scafel and the amazing valley below you. You can drive al the way to the fort with free parking or walk up a couple of km from the valley near by. The link to the video will show you exactly what to expect..... just don't take the subject matter of the vid too serious...... I can give you map references or grid references if you wish or send you a picture of the spot but i will need an email or you can email me at mafftuk@gmail.com if you think the drive over hard knot pass is not for you i will find another spot. please note this is not a place for kids as there are shear drops very near by have a look at this ..... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l789lfzhwsY.html
@mikeymann6813 Nash MF60 INDULGENCE 5 SEASON SS4 MK2 WIDE. Unfortunately Mike it's very pricey but I have to admit it's also very comfy with a nice little power pack holder under the bed which you can connect your phone on the top side. Is it worth the money? I don't regret paying all that cash for it so for me personally. Yes, I'm sure there are equally as good bedchairs at a lot cheaper. But I did treat myself on this occasion.
