In this episode I target aggressive Ohio Musky. There was still a solid weed bite as water was in the upper 60s/low 70s which means two things for me: blades and speed! Enjoy the episode as I hook and land several Ohio Muskies.

If it's a southern Ohio lake, I'd guess that it's Caesar Creek Lake as it has muskies. They used to stock Cowan Lake with muskies but that was a long time ago. ]

You should give pymatuning lake on the edge of north east ohio and PA its known for having the biggest muskie anywhere in ohio or west branch lake

@user-ib1li6ee9j For sure man. With the size of that lake I would need to use my big motor which unfortunately is not within the horsepower restriction of that lake.

Piedmont thank you!!!!! LOL - but I appreciate your stance on not giving our the name of the lake. You are 100 percent correct - it would blow up that lake in a matter of weeks and then the locals would be pissed!!!!! Thank you and great video.

What is this lake called planning to catch a Muskie next week in Ohio?
@sgangling
@sgangling Год назад
It's still pretty warm in the Ohio lakes right now due to warm air temps so I would stay off the lakes and fish cooler waters for the safety of the fish. Once things cool down any of the Musky lakes in Ohio are great as all the ones they stock are high population.

Can you catch musky in any big body of water?

@ccgustafsonscooters No. Only bodies of water that have them. Depending on what state you live in you can access the dnr website and see where they stock them. Plenty of info online

I remember Joe Bucher once saying that ‘too many musky fisherman own the fish before they actually “own” it (as actually in the net)’. He was right and you did some good contemplating about what could have caused the missed opportunities, adapted your fishing (and rod) and it led to a great result! Congrats! That’s the content I like a lot, to learn from

I get not naming spots and whatnot, but being secretive about what lake your fishing is a bit ridiculous.
@sgangling
@sgangling 9 месяцев назад
Thanks for the comment. You have to understand social media and especially youtube is a very powerful platform. I have millions of views on my videos when you combine Instagram and RU-vid. For me to name anything publicly can cause a single spot or body of water to blow up and that doesn't ruin it for me as much it could for someone who considers that their honey hole...If you really want to know feel free to DM me.
